  The rooms are very nice, the staff is nice, but the breakfast has everything, and the food is pretty good, they have a guest computer, it was nice and quite. They have Dove body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, plus they have Dove hand soap and body lotion, they have a microwave in the room, and a fridge, they have a safe in the closet, and hangers, they also have a ironing board and hair dryer and iron in the rooms. Our stay at this motel was very pleasant and we would stay here again. Thank you Shannon M Halorday 🐶 It's also pet friendly .

  The room itself was very clean overall, which I appreciated. However, there were two very long hairs on two of the towels that were hanging in the bathroom. Unfortunately, we had several other issues during our stay. The hot water was basically nonexistent. Even with the shower turned completely to hot, the water was barely warm, which made it very difficult to take a comfortable shower. We were also told by the owner that we would be transferred to a suite the following day. We were expecting the suite to be available for us, but before she was able to hold it, someone else booked it, so we were unable to move as planned. Another issue was the refrigerator. Even though it was turned to the lowest setting, it froze everything we had stored inside. The breakfast was good the first day or two, but after that we noticed that food left over from the previous day’s breakfast appeared to be added to the food being served the next day. That was concerning to us and definitely affected our experience with the breakfast. The most concerning issue happened at checkout. We were charged the $50 room deposit four separate times for the rooms we had during our stay. As of writing this review, only one of those charges has been reversed. We agreed at check-in to a $50 deposit per room, so each room should have been charged the correct $50 deposit one time—not twice. We should not have multiple deposit charges for the same room when that was not what we agreed to. Ultimately, we decided to move to a different hotel and have had much better results there. The cleanliness of the room was definitely a positive, and the breakfast started out well, but the lack of hot water, refrigerator problem, breakfast concerns, suite mix-up, and especially the multiple deposit charges made an already stressful stay much more frustrating than it needed to be.

  This is the best place I’ve stayed at in a while. Clean rooms, super comfortable beds and friendly staff! Will stay again if I ever need to!

  I was really disappointed with the quality of the room. It reeked with the smell of mold, the sink drain was clogged, the shower was dirty, and the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night, forcing me to wake up and reset it just to get it running again. The room quality is far below typical Holiday Inn express standards. The room quality literally felt like being in a shady low lit motel off the highway. The only positive things I have to say are that the front lobby is very nice and the receptionist was extremely kind and welcoming. I expected a much better experience. I had to leave earlier than I had planned because the smell of mold literally woke me up so many times that I couldn’t take it anymore.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other travelers should know about my experience. I booked four rooms at Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Bethlehem, GA for members of my management team who were attending training. This was their first time traveling for work, and I specifically chose this hotel because I wanted them to have a great experience. Unfortunately, I made an honest mistake during booking and accidentally selected the wrong check-in date. I realized it the same afternoon and immediately called the hotel. The front desk told me they could change all four reservations but that the rate would be higher. I accepted responsibility for my mistake and agreed to the change. Later that evening, while completing the credit card authorization forms, I noticed the total had increased by nearly $200. Before calling back, I checked the hotel's website and found the same room type available for around $161 per night, which made the new pricing difficult to understand. When I called to ask about the difference, I was initially told there was nothing they could do. Only after I expressed that the situation didn't seem fair was I suddenly offered a $20 adjustment. That left me wondering why a fair resolution wasn't offered from the beginning. When I asked to speak with someone else, I was simply given the reservations phone number. As a family-owned business ourselves, I understand mistakes happen, including my own. I wasn't asking the hotel to absorb the cost of my error. I was asking for transparency and fair pricing. Instead, I left the conversation feeling like the pricing was inconsistent and that my concerns were dismissed. I hope my employees have a pleasant stay, but based on my experience as the person booking and paying for four rooms, I cannot say the customer service reflected the level of professionalism I expected. If you're booking here, I would recommend confirming every rate and every change in writing before agreeing to any reservation modifications.
