Be careful with the stuff working here . I was alcohol poisoning and was trying to get help and they hang up on me . How evil! Who hang up on me , I hope they get the same when they are in trouble! They deserve it

Pool was down, elevator was broken and aluminum bed fram attached to the wall made sounds everytime you sat down on it or moved. I choose this location because it was close to downtown and within walking distance to some places I wanted to go. Next time , if there is a next time I will find somewhere else and I suggest you do too. The breakfast was good, the pancake machine was broken. So that's my advice

Checked in Monday July 20 room 114 I believe. Walking in the hotel it smelled great & even looked good. Front desk Asha i think was awesome! We get the key to room 114 and soon as I walked in I knew it was DIRTY. Footprints all on the floor, visible dirt in the corners and under the bed. Continue to walk around the room and there's fries under one of the beds. I go to front desk about the complaint she said she would send supervisor. Supervisor came with a old dusty dirty broom talking bout where you need me to sweep? Girl the while room needs RECLEANING! I said give me the broom I'll do it & i need a mop. She says she'll be back with that and NEVER returned. I have pics of all the dirt I swept up from the floor. Then I go to the bathroom and get half of the same amount dirt off that floor. Now I'm livid...we decided to pull the covers back because the bed look remade not stripped and made over & sure enough...we found toe nails clippings, body fluids that resembled blood and urine, just to name a few. I go to front desk ask for management because this is UNACCEPTABLE! Greg is believe is the General manager. I explained to him what had happened and he did search for us another room 618. I am the Director of Environmental Services in hospitality so I know the standards for cleanliness. I always bring my own wipes and spray disinfectant just for instances like these. Back to 618...at this point I trust nothing and im glad because even though the room APPEARED clean...it too was not up to par...I went through and wiped down all high touch areas, clorox the tub. Went and bought a swiffer because I could tell the floor wasn't clean as should be. It took me half of the pads to get it clean after mopping numerous times. I also have pics of how dirty that floor was. At this point we are tired, the child is tired, and we just wanna settle down. I sent in pictures to the front desk about my findings. Also we come to find out we had no hot water..hardly anyone had hot water...only lukewarm🤦🏾‍♀️ I feel like we should have been reimbursed for that stay due to inconvenience and unsanitary conditions we were exposed to. That wouldn't have made it better, but would have made it better. What if I didn't check the beds? My granddaughter would've slept in a bed with someone else's urine and blood in it. I have NEVER been in such a unsanitary hotel. I would expect that from a cheap motel, but Holday Inn Express from other places has standards and clearly they aren't following them. The Supervisor needs to be doing more audits behind housekeepers as well. Last but not least breakfast at least was decent & the black lady serving was AWESOME everyday👌 My hope is that upper management will reach out and do something to make this right. Reservation was under J. Montgomery 1st room-114 2nd room-618 Check in July 20 Check out July 23

They got the big things right: bed was comfy, AC worked really well, hot water was great, staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was convenient to what we were in Augusta for. There were lots of smaller things that were annoyances though: the pool was closed, one of two elevators didn't work, coffee maker didn't work (the coffee in the lobby was better anyway), window blinds didn't work, and the location seemed a little sketchy.

The rooms were nice & clean. But they've put this aluminum-metal barrier under the bed to prevent guests from losing items under the bed. However, EVERYtime you just get in or out of the bed it sounds like someone has slammed a door to a vacant boiler room. And two beds with kids!!!! And bathroom to bed all night! Omg !! It was crazy!!! - And the doggone breakfast pancake machine was broken!! 😲Which was one of our reasons for booking w/them- pancakes & kids. On the plus side, it's walking distance to the Augusta Riverwalk.
