This was a fun place to take the kids, though pretty pricey. The front staff who greeted us were friendly, but inside, staff seemed cold, uncaring, and didn’t interact with politeness. It’s challenging for families with kids who have special needs, and a little kindness goes a long way. “Please,” “thank you,” and a smile are hallmarks of professionalism!

Great place for kids who love Legos. Recommended a parent likes them as well or you will be bored. Similar layout to the one we went to in Boston in 2020 so if you have been to one they are most likely all similar. Obviously not Lego Land! Under 5 Duplo area, race car build and multiple tracks to race and jump the creations. Space ship build and scan to play game shooting asteroids and fly, master builder class with simple build walk through. Classroom and master builder lab have some cool creations. 4D short movie (5to10 min it seemed). A kids play area i would compare to a McDonald's play place. They are two tablets set up for video or still video creations which my daughter (7) loved. Almost forgot the 4 person lazer target game i would compare to a small buzz lightyear style ride like at magic kingdom. 14 year old Autistic son loved some of it all but stayed entertained. I was there for 3 to 4 hours which most people will spend 2 maybe. First walk through area is specific to the city with parts of the city built from Legos.

I would say it's a great experience for age 8 and under. Older will be bored and parents--they have lots of seating! The food and drink prices are reasonable and the staff are pleasant. Think of it as a playground with a lot of random LEGO pieces to build with.

This place is difficult to find if you just follow the maps. You need to park at the Phipps parking lot. Then take the elevador to the 1st level. Then, you need to walk inside the mall and go to the top level. The Lego Discovery center is past the Taco restaurant to the left.
Engineer here: LEGO should be ashamed to have their name associated with this ‘attraction’. It may have been nice once, but during our visit last week it was in such a state of poor maintenance……You TRY to show the kids how to learn from the activity, but wonder what it’s supposed to be doing.
I won’t detail ALL the broken things - you can read about those in other recent reviews. I wish I’d looked there first, but had thought ‘This is LEGO, a brand I trust(ed) - gotta be a good stop”. But time and again the kids just can’t understand what’s going on when you build an item and then it doesn’t do anything.
As a welcome, the mini-figs won’t snap onto the worn-out lego camera stand - hardly a positive starting experiences.
There’s a gravity track with big red loops similar to Hot-Wheels, and NOTHING you build from the tray of parts works on the track - Are all the ‘good’ pieces gone? Or are the physics and scale just a non-starters to begin with? Similar situation with the black gravity track - seems like all the good wheels are broken or missing.
As an example of the poor maintenance, the mini-merry-go-round has a stanchion missing, it’s floor bolt pattern is covered with worn-out duct tape….so it’s been that way for a long time. The rocket-build station is a joke (read other reviews) - Once you find a working station (some have holes where the controls were, but are now covered with curled-edge duct tape), it’s hard to see what the cause and effect is…is this broken, or am I missing something on screen?
It goes on and on….. just read the reviews and decide - it’s NOT a cheap visit, and for the price and Lego Brand, you expect much better.
Other recent reviews express similar thoughts, and there are replies from the owner saying thanks for the info and they’ll take care of those issues… but WHEN? It appears people have been seeing and reporting these things for MONTHS.
