  My wife and I stayed here after our wedding and had a fantastic experience. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade to the ruby suite which was incredible. The room was beautiful and the complimentary champagne on check-in was a nice touch. Brandon the valet was also very polite and helful when it was time to check out. Hotel Clermont is obviously an Atlanta icon, and we would strongly recommend it for any visitors or for a staycation for any other locals.

  Hotel extremmement mal insonnorisé. Ils organisent des mariages et donc ceux qui dorment sont réveillés toute la nuit par les cris et les rires de ceux qui font la fête dans l'hotel et les couloirs... ingérable. Lorsque je me suis plaint, la réception m'a dit ce qu'elle pouvait faire, et ils n'ont rien fait ni pour faire arrêter le bruit ni pour me dédommager. Je venais d'atterir à Altlanta après un long vol, je n'ai pas pu dormir. Merci hotel clermont, un scandal. Lorsqu'on n'isole phoniquement ses chambres, on ne peut pas organiser des fetes avec des clients qui essayent de dormir au même endroit.

  It's a shame. Stayed here a few time. This past time Oct 5-8, room smelled like cat pee. Hotel is a gorgeous property in need of repairs. It's an old building quirky is expected, but foul smells are not. They willing to compensate with 2 free drinks. Manager agreed with foul smell. We were supplied by house keeping a deodorizer that we used each time we entered room. Just beware, it's a sad shame. I never even requested a refund, just fair good faith compensation.

I used to live near Hotel Clermont and was excited to finally stay here when revisiting Atlanta. Unfortunately, it was a fairly horrible experience. It is really unfortunate because the hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I stayed on a very not busy Monday night - saw only one or two other guests while I was there and it was clear the hotel had a lot of vacancy. For some reason, they still thought to put me in a room directly above the Clermont Lounge, which was incredibly loud and disturbing well into the night (I didn't get to sleep until after 3:30am). The music vibrated through my pillow and bed all night and when I tried to call down to the front desk, I got no answer so I couldn't even inquire about moving rooms. It was the worst night of sleep I have ever had at a hotel and I really cannot imagine anyone being able to sleep through it. The earplugs were a joke because of the insane amount of vibrations and loud bass. I told the woman at check out about my experience the next morning and she told me I should request to stay at the other side of the building in the future (there will be no future stay, I will not spend money at this hotel again after that night). That is great advice but fairly useless after the fact and I am upset that when the hotel was clearly mostly empty, they would choose to put me in a room on what they know is a very loud side of the building above a late night club. They need to do serious soundproofing - in my opinion, those rooms should not be booked out at all. Unless you plan on staying out at the lounge or partying all night and combing back at 4am, I would not recommend staying here.

  Hotel is older but remodeled. The lighting was on the dark side in the hallways, and the rooms. There was a slight musty smell in the hotel, the elevators were slow. Beds are close to the floor, and our air conditioner malfunctioned into the evening which created a 82° night. There were earplugs supplied in the rooms which were needed because of the loud people patronizing the adult strip club in the basement. The place was not bad but certainly not worth the almost $466 a night plus parking.
