I asked the guy at the door if I could use their ATM machine so I could get a uber. He said no I couldn’t go inside. I was stranded in Atlanta and I really needed help. Only to get turned away. What a terrible hotel

The hotel was perfect for Relaxation and restoration for my Husband and I. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning and it was delicious. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Hats of to the chef making the truffle grits, they were superb. Bed was comfortable and room was immaculate. Pool and Spa was a big plus. Recommend getting spa services booked early.

Overall, a great stay! Most of the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. I was even specially recognized for a bunch of recent stays at other FS properties, which was a very nice touch.
Minus two stars for a stunning unforced service error. Was in ATL for a few business meetings and a wedding. Needed to get cash for the bride and groom ahead of departing the hotel for the wedding. Had been assured there was an ATM on the third floor.
ATM was out of service. Nbd, I figured. I’d just grab some cash from the front desk and they’d add it to our folio, similar to how any other luxury property handles cash advances.
They refused and advised the FS Atlanta doesn’t do cash advances. I guess there’s a first for everything, but this is totally unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.
Despite the extenuating circumstances and broken onsite ATM, they forced us to walk in the heat and humidity to an off-property ATM. Now drenched and running late for the wedding. Shame to have an otherwise great stay marred by a nonsensical policy. Change it.

Save your money: the service is excellent - best in the business by far - but the hotel itself wasn't near worth it. We've had much better hotel experiences at a fraction of the price.
- The A/C, as mentioned in other reviews, is inadequate. Even when management overrode the thermostat down to 60 degrees, the room remained hot. Even after changing rooms, the new room was also warm. It's obvious this is a systemic, aging A/C issue that has failed to be addressed. Maybe they are the original A/C units from 1991.
- The showers, even in the suites, are tiny. I've been in dozens of hotels and this is the smallest shower I can remember. Barely bigger than a cruise-ship shower.
- The shower water pressure is non-existent. Again, it's the worst pressure I've had in dozens of hotels of varying prices.
Even though the service we received was excellent, this property falls way short of the premium price tag. We wouldn't stay here again.
