  The room was not cleaned even after checking-in an hour beyond the window. Was asked to wait a few minutes, more than half an hour goes by before the room is finally ready. And this was after listening to staff try and figure out which rooms were the King Suite I reserved and which ones were a standard lol. Supposedly, this hotel was renovated. But the renovations are very poorly done and the hotel/room in general is not very clean. There appears to have been a major water leak in the ceiling here in the room that was haphazardly muddied over. There was a random dirty towel next to our bed, and the shower smelled bad. We purchased cleaning spray from the local Publix to clean the shower prior to use. Additionally, the couch was not vacuumed or cleaned at all. It had obvious smeared stains and crumbs of some kind all over it. AC unit shuts on and off. I think it was probably doing its best to keep it in the mid 70’s. Absolutely NOT worth spending $250 for a night here at all. Even if the other hotels around aren’t any better an experience, they’re at least cheaper.

  The hospitality of this hotel was fantastic. Yet, they desired work in the cleanliness of the rooms. They did not scrub out the restrooms of the suite we had. The toilet bowl had a ring around it from much use of other guests, a simple scrub brush with some cleaning product would've sufficed to rid that problem, same with the tub. I could see some dirt in it. I also found an open safety pin in my bed after I got up the next morning. Luckily I had so many clothes on from the cold air of the room I did not feel it's piercing effect. I wasn't satisfied with the complimentary breakfast offered. I stayed at the Marriott Ramada in Orlando, Florida just last year and their complimentary breakfast exceeded that of this Holiday Inn's by far. I expected better from this chain of hotel in cleanliness and food service. They would've gotten a lower rating from me if it hadn't been for the hospitality. The staff were very kind that in abd of itself deserve a better rating. It is customer service that is by far the standard these days. For many companies do not offer this and exclude treating the customer with respect and dignity. This staff gave us that. So I took of one star. Good job, they can work on the minor issues.

  It was very clean, especially for a 3-star hotel. The breakfast wasn't super rich, but it was decent enough. Overall, a good stay.

  I was pleasantly surprised as I don’t usually patronize this chain as a rewards member with another franchise. Pool was amazing indoors
