We have been coming to Lego Land two or three times a year for ten years. This year we decided to spend the extra money to stay at one of the resorts. Very disappointed. Although the rooms were clean and restaurant staff were good, nothing else was worth it. Rooms were too small to even include a table top for our son to build the new Lego he got the first day. No, microwave. There is no lobby but we were given a local number to call if we needed anything. This was very confusing, and the number was forwarded to the LEGOLAND toll free number to buy tickets, so there was no way for us to ask for toilet paper, coffee supplies, etc...The grounds are well groomed but it is 70% weeds, 10 % grass and 20% barren or dying. It was nice to have a shuttle but the driver did not know how to operate the lift allow an older couple to board with their grand children because she had a scooter. I assisted lifting the scooter on and off so they could get back to the hotel. I would not stay here again. Best Western is down the road an much more less money for a much better experience.

Before I went, I had zero expectations as I read many mixed reviews but our family had a great stay there and the overall experience exceeded our expectations!
We have an annual pass, which gave us a discount on the stay and the price was comparable to nearby three star chain hotels.
All the staff members we interacted with were very friendly and attentive.
Parking: plenty of space and it is close to the bungalow. We had no issues.
Room: it is for kids not for adults so there’s nothing fancy and the amenities are basic. But our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Our fridge was not working but the maintenance staff came right away and replaced it with a working one. As many mentioned, no microwave, no table / desk and chairs inside the room.
Pool: perfect for younger kids and people with mixed age children as the pool has a shallow side where little kids can play. 4 friendly life guards present and towel service available.
Breakfast: it was included in our stay. We waited to be seated and the waiter brought a large tray of food with different kinds of dishes. Drinks (hot coffee, juice, milk) were included in the meals. We thought it was pretty good(we had low expectations as we absolutely hated the legoland park food). Everything was warm, freshly made and well seasoned.
As long as you remind yourself that it is for kids and a theme park hotel, i think you will enjoy the stay. Our kids loved it and we will probably go back again.

The only good part about this place was the transportation to and from the park. The room was filthy we had fake finger nail in our room we had spiders in the shower the bedding appeared dirty the mattress were hard as a rock. The breakfast was horrible the pool was filthy you can tell they don’t care enough to keep it clean. The blocks the have in the pool have black mold all in them. You can’t buy stuff to make s’mores from the store you have to buy there stuff and that is 25 bucks for 6 s’mores which is absolutely ridiculous. After the cleaning person cleaned our room they did not even make sure the door was shut so anyone could have walked in and took all of our stuff. The smell of weed was so strong it was not even funny. I would not recommend anyone to stay here we will never come back. This is not a place to go for a relaxing vacation stay.

The room was cute with lego theme. It has a small refrigerator and coffee maker, but no microwave. The kids bunk bed mattresses were terrible. But the adult queen bed (i think) was ok. Because the kids wanted to sleep with us, we ended up all squished in the adult bed. At other hotels we split between 2 queen beds and that works better for us (as far as i know that is not an option at the legoland hotels). We had sugar ants in the bathroom, the air conditioner didn't work well durring the day. The breakfast says open till 11 but apparently its open till 1030 so when we got there at 1025 the hostess was very agitated. The breakfast included was all sysco junk so just ok (the eggs were fake and gross, the sausage links and bacon were good but greasy, the biscuits and gravy were obviously premade and not great, the kids didn't care much for the pancakes, but enjoyed the fried french toast, the breakfast potatoes were good but obviously fried, the fruit in the fruit cups was not fresh (pineapple, cantaloupe, and strawberries), the first thibg they ask is of the kids want chocolate milk (not a great plan when going to a theme park in very very hot weather) so the kids were upset when we said no. They used to have a little lego set for each child in the morning at the hotels, but now they get a minifigure on the first day and don't do each day of your stay anymore. Overall, we love legoland but I don't plan on staying at their hotels anymore.

From the moment we arrived, our kids fell in love with everything about LEGOLAND Beach Retreat. It was our first time staying here, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations in every way.
Check-in was quick and smooth, and the LEGO-themed room was amazing. Our kids absolutely loved every detail, making the stay even more special. The pool area was very family-friendly, and we appreciated that lifeguards were on duty at all times, which made us feel safe while the kids played.
We also had access to the prepaid breakfast at the LEGOLAND Hotel, and it was fantastic. The all-you-can-eat breakfast offered a delicious meal with plenty of variety, so there was something for everyone in the family.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We highly recommend LEGOLAND Beach Retreat to families with kids and would definitely stay here again!
