  Our last stay here was pretty rough, honestly. One of the elevators was busted which was pretty annoying. Also, we got woken up in the middle of the night TWICE to a police officer banging on our door because they were trying to track down the parents of toddlers wandering the halls. Then we heard them knock on EVERY OTHER DOOR in the hall all the way from our bed. Yeah....thanks a lot to the parents of those poor kids for that one. (Heard they finally tracked them down thankfully) Besides that, it doesn't help that this hotel doesn't offer free breakfast while many others around Legoland do. The rooms weren't as clean as they have been in the past either. I will probably avoid the headaches next time by staying somewhere else.

  !!!DO NOT STAY HERE DURING SUMMER MOTNHS!!! Very disappointed with my stay. Since this hotel is near LEGOLAND and Peppa Pig Theme Park, there were kids running up and down the halls, banging on doors and making noise til 12am while many of the parents were downstairs at the bar instead of supervising them. I travel for work and work 10-hour days and have to be up at 5 a.m., so getting any rest was impossible. I even called and went down to the front desk multiple times and nothing was done about it. I even had to pack up and move to a room on the top floor just to get some peace and quiet, which was a huge inconvenience. Also the smell of marijuana is the first thing you smell because the guests just sit outside and smoke it like cigarettes. I won't be staying here again!!

  I had an absolutely horrific experience at this IHG property. What started as a simple reservation app error turned into a nightmare of lies, illegal-feeling billing practices, and hostile management. There was a mix-up with my app reservation. When I tried to show my app to the weekend front desk clerk to resolve it, she lacked the basic technical skills to read it. Sensing an issue, I told her to cancel the reservation entirely so I could stay at the Lake Wales Holiday Inn instead, which was closer to my job anyway. To trap me there, she lied and said, "Oh no, I fixed it to 4 nights." Instead of running a standard authorization hold, she immediately processed a full charge on my card so I couldn't leave. On the third night, I returned from my shift at the jail to find my key card deactivated. She had lied about the fourth night. Worse, the desk staff informed me they re-ran my credit card for an extra night without my permission. They claimed they called me to confirm, but I work in a secure facility and my phone history proves they never attempted to contact me. When I demanded to leave, an unkempt employee with poor hygiene claimed she was the General Manager and aggressively told me I couldn't leave because my card was already charged.After contacting corporate, the actual General Manager called me back. He was incredibly nasty and rude. He blamed me for the entire situation, dismissed the clerk's outright lies as a "coaching opportunity," and smugly told me I could leave now because the second charge was "only pending." By this time, it was 8:00 PM. I wake up at 5:00 AM for work; leaving at that hour was impossible, especially after being threatened that the charges would stand if I walked out.Terrible Room ConditionsThe hotel staff is not the only issue. The property is completely unmanageable:Constant Noise: People were roaming the halls yelling at 4:00 AM. (Shoutout to Sheronda who handled the noise complaint, and the clerk who checked me out they are the only amazing staff members. Odors: The hallways constantly reeked of marijuana.Health Hazards: Visible mold in my shower. The level of disrespect, dishonesty, and lack of professionalism from the General Manager down to the weekend staff is staggering. Do not stay here. I will never be back.

  A wonderful experience, room clean and remade after first night, appreciated the kuerig for coffee, every staff member I met from Friday night till Sunday morning was professional, helpful, and friendly, lobby and entire hotel was quite clean and orderly

  Being 15 minutes away from the LEGOLAND park, having free self-parking, the option of a full-service breakfast buffet, where our kids eat free and a Lego figuring to greet you in the lobby, made this a perfect location. Breakfast buffet, fresh protein, fruits, grain, and array that included Nutella. All the attendants were nothing but friendly, welcoming, and so helpful. The hotel room itself was immaculate &, smelled so clean when we first walked in. The ultra-soft bedding made for a wonderful nights rest. This is an awesome hotel.
