  The rooms nice and clean…. Amber at the front desk is amazing and friendly.. love miss Susan at the bar and the food is pretty good also

  My favorite hotel while working in the area! Consistently clean rooms. Reasonable rates. Ms Sue holds down the bar and restaurant during the week. What a great person!!! Don’t get me wrong, the entire staff is nice but Ms Sue is a gem!

  Had 3 rooms booked here for the weekend. $11.99 to charge for an ‘all you can eat’ breakfast is a joke. It’s less than what I would consider a continental breakfast. It is not refilled and replenished enough to truly ‘eat what you want when you want’ and if I’m paying for a breakfast I don’t expect it to be the exact same as free breakfast at 20 other hotels in the nearby area. Will not stay here again all based on the breakfast situation. Lost my business, and the business of my family and friends.

  Pleasantly surprised about this 1 night Pitt stop. The rooms were fresh and everything was clean. Dawn the AGM on duty at check in was super friendly and even printed off colouring pages for the kids. Beds were super comfortable and the sofa / trundle was a cute addition to the room. Well done Holidah inn Winterhaven for standing out compared to other Holiday inns.

  My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Winter Haven for a weekend trip to Peppa Pig Land and Legoland. While several aspects of the property were genuinely excellent — including the friendly staff, clean facilities, fast service when requesting items, and a well‑run breakfast buffet — I need to address a serious issue that directly impacted both my experience and my wallet. I booked this hotel specifically because multiple platforms — Google, Hotels.com, Trivago, and even the Holiday Inn website — clearly stated that this property offered room service. This was not a minor detail. It was the deciding factor in choosing this hotel over others, and it was meant to be a surprise for my family. Upon arrival, I learned that room service is not offered at all. Staff and managers gave inconsistent answers, but ultimately confirmed that the listings were incorrect. This is not a small oversight. It is a major amenity being advertised across several booking platforms and your own brand site, and it is simply not true. Because of this misinformation, I ended up shortening my stay from three nights to two. The disappointment was significant, and the financial impact was real. I did my best not to let it affect my family’s trip, but the fact remains: I booked based on information that was inaccurate everywhere I checked. To be clear, your staff were wonderful, the property was clean, and the location is excellent. But none of that excuses incorrect advertising. Guests rely on accurate information when choosing where to stay, and room service is a major amenity that should never be listed if it does not exist. I strongly urge management to immediately correct all online listings — on Google, Hotels.com, Trivago, and the Holiday Inn website — to prevent future guests from being misled the way I was. Accuracy matters, and families deserve to know what they are actually paying for. Outside of this issue, the stay was pleasant, and your team members were kind, responsive, and professional. But the room service discrepancy needs to be addressed without delay.
