  Great pool!! Shallow, so no diving, which helped with the noise factor. Restaurant is very good! Balcony room overlooking the mangroves and the ocean. Fourth visit!

  Love Disney's Vero Beach Resort. All of the staff are so very friendly and attentive to all of us. The food is fantastic, from quick service to the restaurant and snacks in the Green Cabin Room, everything was so delicious. The Resort is very clean and wel taken care of. The beach, pool and all of the other amenities that are available are fantastic. We will definitely come back again many times.

  We’ll have visited the Disney Vero Beach resort several times and really enjoyed every aspect of our trip. HOWEVER….this time was not an enjoyable trip. I’d like to warn you about the dangers of items that can easily be stolen from your hotel room while you’re out and about enjoying your vacation. I mad

  Been to many resorts as a DVC member, this one needs help. No beach service, towel pick up and drop off in one place on the other side of the pool, so using the beach was a pain. And the bugs! No-see ums and these black love bugs …couldn’t sit outside, no screens on the balcony, pool bar had 3 chairs, and the rooms were good size, but double bed; why not a king size bed? Just wasted space …just not what’s expected from Disney.

  I would like to start out with the fact that my family and I are very much involved with Disney. We are annual pass holders at Disney Land Paris and we just completed a two week disney cruise aboard the Dream. While in the U.S. we decided to stay at the Vero Beach Resort with our two children and disappointed doesn't come close to how we felt when we left. This feeling was not because the property was not Disney themed enough. It had everything to do with the service and atmosphere of the employees. Starting off with the good...the check-in was great and the housekeeping was EXCELLENT. The property is very well maintained and the pool and beach areas are quite nice for families and solo travelers alike. However, the quality of service is what truly defines the disney experience and this resort really, really misses the mark (aside from the check in experience which was lovely). On no less than four occasions, I interacted with 3-4 customer service oriented employees who were huddled together and talking about "who was retiring and when". I was flabbergasted at the frequency of this. I get that it is the off season and had it happened once I would not have thought twice about it. However, it became a running joke between my wife and I. Aboard the disney dream, the lifeguards were extremely pleasant and smiled at the children who were getting in. Just a brief acknowledgement of them went a long way. However, these lifeguards could not be bothered to smile or give any acknowledgement to the guests. Honestly, they gave off the vibes of teenage lifeguards at a public pool. This may seem like a small detail but the pleasant nature of disney lifeguards really went a long way on our cruise. Just a high five or a hello went a long way. Not someone being stonefaced, blowing their whistle and yelling at a toddler about a snorkel. We requested a checkout of noon, as opposed to 11am. Its completely fine that they could not accommodate us. Its the way that we were spoken to that is irritating. I was treated like an inconvenience and had the phone hung up on me. Very disappointing. It seemed like every interaction started with "can I get your disney vacation club number?" which is totally fine and expected. However, it is not fine that the demeanor of the employees completely changes as soon as you say "No, I am not a member". This was true at both the hospitality desk and the gift shop. All of this made us feel like we were at decent resort hotel on the Treasure Coast....not a Disney Property. We vacation almost exclusively with disney because the product is so consistently good and because our young children always feel like they are having a special experience. We are now reconsidering joining the Disney Vacation Club due to this experience. If you are near the space coast, save yourself the disney premium and just stay at a Marriott or Hilton property instead.
