    This location has large cockroaches… when brought to managements attention the response was “I guess you’re not from Florida “? Who says this to a customer? I checked out and changed hotels immediately. I was also told my company had to go through Expedia for a refund? Huh?

    The Holiday Inn Express Venice by at 380 Commercial Ct was great place to stay when visiting Venice, FL. Cleveland at the front desk was Amazing, very professional and sincerely enjoyed help guests. He provided courteous and helpful information, but all the surrounding area and assistance in all of our names while we were in the hotel. The hotel was nice, clean, and very convenient to just about everywhere you would need to go in Venice. Would recommend highly recommended staying here!!! Thank you again Cleveland for all your service during our stay!!!

    "I cannot recommend staying here. The property is severely neglected, and it feels like the management is doing the bare minimum just to stay in business. My room was in terrible condition: the furniture was beat up, the chairs were ripped, and the walls were covered in scuffs from luggage that had never been touched up. Even the common areas are failing; the laundry room lacked flooring and looked industrial and 'gross.' It is clear they are happy to collect guests' money without reinvesting a cent into repairs or updates.

    TV Cable went out and front desk said it happens all the time and you have to rescind the channels (took 15 minutes to do this) when finished only had half the channels were available. Channel line up card said there was HBO, no HBO. Elevator would shake at every floor stop and would jump everytime you went to the 1st floor. Only 2 luggage carts available with one being very small and therefore useless. Shower had no mat on the floor so the shower was extremely slippery and dangerous. Calls to the front desk were never answered. Not a impressed especially because it was close to $300 per night.
