I found this hotel driving on my way to another four minutes up the road at a late hour, so parked and asked to make a reservation to check-in for one night. The representative working at the front desk made my walk -in reservation very quick and easy. The second floor corner room with a King-size mattress cost about $129 per night before tax. Laundry costs $4 per machine at this Holiday Inn location, which I gave my $20 bill for a roll of quarters in change at the front desk. I decided to keep my laundry and change to complete the cycles elsewhere.
Laundry detergent and microwaveable food like Spaghetti and Meatballs was available to purchase in the little Snacks Shop next to the front desk (with the option for the representative working at the front desk to post it to your card on file for the reservation).
Downstairs is a 24/7 gym with a treadmill (with an old TV attached), bicycle, and mirror. Nearby is a Meeting Room.
I think room is very clean, has two windows, a coffee station, and a comfortable mattress.
After flipping up the light switch, I saw a little spider or some kind of critter walking on the bathroom floor last night. Still, I give the rating a 9.9/10 for cleanliness.
I think the bathroom in the suite with a king-sized mattress I reserved is very large, so I like it. Shower curtain is 100% Polyester. The tub is combined with a shower and water temperature gets very hot. Stocked with Dove brand liquid bath soap, hair conditioner, and hair shampoo. Near the bathroom sink is also Dove brand hand soap and body lotion. Plenty clean white 100% cotton hand towels, bath towels, floor towels, and wash cloths available in the bathroom, as well as toilet tissue.
The free breakfast was available at 6:30am. The food assembly line included: scrambled eggs, veggie omelets; turkey sausage, Greek yogurt, and an array of cereal including Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, and Raisin Bran. Orange juice, cranberry juice available in the machine - nearby 2% milk and Skim milk. No almond milk available with breakfast today at this location.
The mattress is comfy. The duvet is white and thick. Four pillows: two soft and two firm. I don’t know, I think it’s cotton. The closet space has a clothing rack, an ironing board, wired iron, laundry bag, and a safe for your valuable goods.
There is a working mounted LG TV facing the bed and window with a CLEAN Remote TV remote, and lots of channels to choose from — including the Accuweather news channel with the local news forecasts. In addition to the Danby Designer microwave, the room also has a Danby Designer mini-fridge (empty/unstocked) and a type of Keurig that heats quickly. Next to it are Prideland black tea packets, two pods of Royal Cup medium roast 100% Colombian coffees, and one pod of Green Mountain light roast decaf. I think the machine works with no problem.
Three smoothed over painted stainless steel or aluminum mounted clothes racks facing the bed with bench space underneath. The wood tone in the room is very nice, making the room feel light, clean, and new. Lots of lights, waste bins, seating and a desk with a desk chair.
The thermostat is next to the TV, in the carpeted area of the room (over from the tile) works for AC and Heat. It also is pretty cool technology.
The cost of my stay is $150.19 total. I have the little bill someone slipped under the door while I was sleeping.
Parking is safe. I recommend this hotel. I didn’t charge my phone or laptop here, but lots of wall-mounted charging stations with sockets and USB ports under the TV and next to each side of the bed, a wall outlet with sockets near the desk and in the bathroom where a hairdryer is, next to the sitting chair, and more.
The manager Neal Patel really delivers on the IHG Clean Promise of cleanliness. I don’t remember the guy’s name from checking in, but Quaa made checking out this morning so simple. Her jewelry is incredible and so is her eye-contact. She wished me a good day and safe travels out here, which I really appreciate. She looks like she is doing her job on the telephone well.
