  We came to Tampa for a concert. Deloris and Candace were absolutely the best. We were given info on the ins and outs of getting to and from the concert the easiest way! I would definitely recommend staying here! Great place!

  I drive a truck, run by a clock. Book with CLC LODGING, when I first started staying here they would work with your check in time, early as we only have 10 hrs to rest. Not now, could be completely empty and still won’t accommodate. STAY AWAY

  The service at the front desk was great The outside reeked of gas and trash Indoors it smelled like a wet dog I checked into my room on the first floor, which was a non-smoking room and I could either smell someone smoking in another room coming into my room or prior guest had been smoking in my room to the point that I could barely even sit in the room without getting a headache. The bathroom, especially smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke through the whole night. $200 for a night to make you and your belongings all smell like an ash tray is not the way myself nor others want to experience.

  I just checked in and was assisted by Candace, and I felt compelled to leave a review because of how impressed I was with her. When I arrived, she was helping someone on the phone, and I was struck by how genuinely kind, patient, and empathetic she was. She showed me that same warmth during my check-in, and when I stepped outside to check my license plate and came back in, she was giving another caller the exact same level of care and attention. It’s rare to come across someone whose compassion and kindness feel so genuine and consistent. I don’t leave reviews often, but Candace provided one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel and absolutely deserves to be recognized.

  Friendly staff and good breakfast, but dated property and an inadequate resolution to damaged clothing: The staff at this hotel were friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was good, and Delores did a great job making sure everything stayed refilled and clean. We also appreciated the evening social. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is dated and in need of repairs and upgrades. Our biggest problem occurred after we used one of the hotel dryers. It left black grease on more than $400 worth of clothing. After inspecting everything closely, we found that nearly every item in the load had some type of damage. Some items had holes or tears. Others had frayed or partially shredded areas where the fabric had been damaged but had not yet torn completely through. We photographed the damaged clothing, the dryer, and a sharp, broken area inside the dryer drum that appeared consistent with the damage. We travel for work for months at a time and left home in mid-June. We will not be home to get more clothing until approximately mid-September. Because so much of the clothing we had with us was damaged, we have no choice but to purchase replacements while traveling. The hotel initially offered 10,000 IHG points and later increased the offer to 25,000 points. We were told they could not reimburse us for the damaged clothing because the reservation was booked through CLC. The way the room was booked had nothing to do with the condition of the hotel’s dryer, so we do not believe that should prevent the hotel from fairly addressing the damage caused by its equipment. We were not insisting on cash. We would have accepted either reimbursement or a reasonable amount of IHG points. We simply wanted compensation that fairly reflected the documented loss and the cost of replacing the clothing. Unfortunately, 25,000 points did not come close. We appreciated the friendly staff, the breakfast, and the evening social. However, the condition of the property, the extensive damage to our clothing, and the inadequate resolution made this a disappointing stay.
