  We stayed at the Staybridge Suites for a soccer tournament weekend because of its convenient location near the Sportsplex. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and the front desk customer service were extremely disappointing. The front desk staff provided some of the worst customer service I have experienced. When I went downstairs to get a replacement room key, the employee assisting me walked away without saying a word. After waiting about two minutes, I politely asked the manager for assistance, only to receive a rude response that the keys were “in the back,” as if I was supposed to know that. The lack of communication, courtesy, and professionalism was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated experience, as the front desk staff consistently provided poor service throughout our stay. The hotel itself desperately needs maintenance. The popcorn ceiling in our room was dirty, black in areas, and falling apart. The bathroom conditions were atrocious. Although the room appeared clean overall, the property is clearly in need of significant repairs. The air conditioning unit was also extremely loud, making it very difficult to sleep. The one positive was the housekeeping staff, who did a good job. However, that does not make up for the poor customer service and the overall condition of the hotel. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others. The location is convenient for the Sportsplex, but convenience alone is not enough to justify staying somewhere with such poor/ rude service and maintenance issues.

  While the service was quite good, unfortunately, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and many of the rooms are still in need of attention. The air conditioner in my room struggled to keep it comfortably cool, the bathtub's finish was badly chipped, the drain plug was rusty, and one corner of the ceiling appeared to have unfinished stucco. I didn't bother requesting a different room, as I've unfortunately encountered similar issues at far too many hotels during my travels. Still, it was disappointing to encounter these problems at a Staybridge Suites, where I expected a higher standard of upkeep. I understand that renovations take time, and hopefully the improvements will address these issues. The staff provided good service, but the condition of my room certainly detracted from the overall experience.

  I would like to give a very special thank you to the wonderful lady Delores who prepared breakfast every morning during my stay. Every day, no matter how early it was, she was there at 5:00 AM with a beautiful smile, a positive attitude, and a warm heart. She made sure I was fed and ready to start my day, and her kindness meant more to me than she probably realizes. I was here in Tampa on a military deployment, and being away from home can be challenging. Her smile, kindness, and consistency gave me something positive to look forward to every morning. She helped make my days a little easier and kept me motivated throughout my time here. Sometimes, it’s the small acts of kindness that make the biggest difference. I will always remember her warmth and dedication. Thank you for being there every morning and for making me feel at home while I was away serving. You truly made a difference in my stay, and I am very grateful. ❤️

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect and that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent! The two ladies working in the kitchen were especially kind, attentive, and welcoming. They treated us so well and made our mornings even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our experience and would happily stay here again with our family. Highly recommended!

  We had a great stay at Staybridge Suites Tampa. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Delores at breakfast was especially wonderful—she was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was clean and well stocked. Overall, excellent service and a very pleasant stay!
