  The people at the front desk are rude. When I booked a room and payed with my card they took my money immediately. Then when I left they put it all together as one charge and overdrew my account. They didn't give me my deposit back and I left that room clean. They got some scamming trifling people working there.

  We stayed for 2 nights here. I called the hotel to get the room's filter changed ahead of our arrival. Nelly the manager on duty said she'll take care of it. We ended up having to change our room due to noise and the TV didn't work properly, however I still give this hotel 5 stars due to the customer service (Nelly) who is very accommodating and nice. Also Bill and Lisa at the breakfast restaurant are also very nice and courteous. We will stay again at this hotel due to the staff and close proximity to where we need to go.

  I stayed just one night as my family and I were visiting Busch gardens the next day and heading to Orlando afterwards. The hotel is very outdated and did not feel clean, while walking to our room we saw water bugs walking around the hallways. And the rooms themselves were ok, but we all had issues sleeping because the walls were so thin, any little noise we could hear. I wouldnt recommend this hotel honestly, there are hiltons nearby that im assuming are more comfortable and in better condition.

  Was priced 282.28 for 2 days with taxes (have email) then when I looked at my bank account they charged me $351. They charged a $50 deposit...okay. I understand but tell people up front. Then they charged me $10 a day for parking. What the heck! Ive stayed at Hoilday inns for over 30 yrs and have never been charged a deposit and definitely never charged for parking. Restaurant had 1 person cooking & waiting tables. Lady took our order, went back and cooked it and didn't come back out til our food was done. Felt bad for the other people waiting! Pool was extremely dirty 😒 wanted to relax after a long day of working in the heat. Hotel was full of boys running around and banging on the windows.. get they need something to do but it was til almost midnight and we had to get up at 5am for work. Bathroom was NOT cleaned very well! Toilet seat is broke

Our stay at **Holiday Inn Tampa North, an IHG Hotel**, was truly exceptional, and I felt compelled to take the time to write this review because experiences like this deserve to be recognized. We visited Tampa for a **university trip and mini vacation**, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness that immediately made us feel comfortable. What stood out most was not simply the beautiful property or its convenient location, but **the people who make this hotel what it is**. The customer service was absolutely outstanding. Every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, courteous, and sincere. A very special shout-out goes to **Mr. Bill — whom I affectionately called “the Bossman.”** 😊 His professionalism, willingness to assist, and accommodating nature were exceptional. He consistently made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Then there is **Lisette**, who worked with Bill during the morning period. She greeted us with a smile every morning and provided wonderful service while serving us a delicious breakfast. Her warmth and pleasant personality were the perfect way to start each day. And while we are talking about breakfast, we absolutely **must recognize the kitchen staff**. The meals were fresh, well prepared, and delicious. You could genuinely tell that care went into the food. We also want to recognize **Giselle and Nelly** — two absolutely beautiful souls at the front desk. Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism were remarkable. They were so pleasant and welcoming that interacting with them genuinely felt like being around family. ❤️ And last, but certainly not least, is the lovely **Tammy**! Her high-spirited energy and wonderful personality have a way of brightening the entire atmosphere. She is the kind of person whose presence makes you smile, and she added something truly special to our stay. To **Bill, Lisette, the kitchen team, Giselle, Nelly, Tammy, and the entire Holiday Inn Tampa North team — THANK YOU!** You all played a tremendous part in making our visit so memorable. Our room was **spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed** for our stay. The view was particularly meaningful and convenient for us, as we had a view toward **the University of South Florida (USF), directly across the street**. For a university trip, the hotel's location could not have been more perfect. We were also able to visit **Busch Gardens**, which is just a short distance from the hotel, making the location even more convenient for our mini vacation. The **pool, gym, restaurant, lobby, and other common areas were clean, organized, and well maintained**. The Wi-Fi was also excellent throughout our stay. Everything came together to create an environment that was comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. If I could suggest one area for future improvement, it would be the **guest laundry facilities**. An upgraded coin-laundry setup or, even better, an **app-based laundry system at a reasonable cost** would make an already excellent hotel experience even more convenient for guests staying several days. That is honestly the only improvement I can think of. ❤️ Would We Return? **Without a doubt — YES!** We would absolutely return to Holiday Inn Tampa North and would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this hotel to family and friends. In fact, after such a wonderful experience, my only concern is whether I will be able to get room availability for our next visit! 😂 There are plenty of hotels you can stay at, but there are very few places where **the people make you feel genuinely at home**.
