Booked this hotel through booking.com for my father and son going to a concert. These are 2 blue collar guys that do not require much in hotels. They walked in to the room and left immediately. It was dirty, smelly, dusty and buggy. You know it has to be disgusting for them to leave. The neighborhood was also very sketchy. When I called the front desk to make them aware the young lady that answered the phone was apologetic and nice. I have reported this to the booking agent and have asked for a refund. I highly advise not to stay here.

Hotel worked out well for our needs. Close to everything, good service and breakfast was very good and very clean and organized restaurant. Staff was amazing! Housekeeping was apparently understaffed and was not able to clean our room for 3-days before we arrived back from the days activities. They were very friendly though and did provide towels when asked.

So! The workers at the front desk were very nice at check-in but, as soon as you have something wrong it turns into attitude. The bathrooms were disgusting with a stained and dirty bathtub. We asked for Coporate's number to let them know about the attitudes of the workers only to be told: "Theres no corporate" and "I'm not giving you the number". Don't expect quality room service, you will have to go back and forth for things that should be provided in the first place. You can't even expect a free breakfast with mixed reviews on different people getting charged for eating hotel breakfast. Very disappointing since the location is conveniently close to Busch Gardens for a fun day. Overall, the experience would be better with a better staff team at the front and better room cleanliness.

I stayed here last month - I would certainly not recommend this place or come back! The room was terrible. It was smelly - musty/mouldy smell. One of the beds was half off the base which was broken. I had to 'fix' it myself before it could be slept on. There were metal supports dangerously sticking out of the bed base that my son cracked his shin on! My daughter and wife woke up with bed bug bites! The bathroom was dirty which included poo still in the toilet of the previous person that stayed I presume. The buffet was very limited and food items ran out quick. I certainly wouldn't be walking around the neighbourhood after dark. I gave a second star for the location for it being so close to Busch Gardens. The gym was tiny - anymore than 2 more people in there is crowded! The front desk ladies were nice and the shuttle bus service and driver were good. We were meant to be staying for 5 nights however we left after the first night it was that bad! I spoke with the front desk on the way out with my concerns and asked for a refund. The lady on the desk took my details and said management would be in contact. I have not heard anything back! If i could give less than one star I would DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Perfect hotel choice for a family vacation. Jon was a great concierge. Went above and beyond to ensure my wife and children had a wonderful stay, even though they had a packed house. He even drove the shuttle to pick us up after a long day at Busch Gardens. The suite was nice and clean with a ton of channels on the large tv to veg out on after our daily excursions. Nice layout and furnishings as well. Little kitchen area with a microwave, mini-fridge and sink. Roomy enough for the four of us and the AC kept us cool in 100°+ temps. Breakfast was varied and tasty with a lot of quick bites and hot food options. The attendant for the breakfast operation was constantly bringing out hot foot for dozens of guests. A real Johnny on the spot. The 24hr fresh coffee grinder/brewing machine in the lobby was also a nice touch. Location is absolutely unbeatable as well. Five minutes from Busch Gardens and less than 10 away from ZooTampa. Even has an Olive Garden a building over and a one minute walk away. We could even see the nightly fireworks from our window! Just a really great home away from home for a days long family vacation. We'll be staying here again when we visit in the future.
