  The hospitality at this hotel is exceptional. I was provided with complimentary bottled water. The breakfast bar was particularly impressive, offering a variety of omelettes with an assortment of toppings for customization. The hotel’s location is advantageous, as it is conveniently situated near Busch Gardens. I recommend this hotel for your next stay.

  Overall place is pretty damn good, clean and the staff is friendly. Area has alot of food to gas station and more around in walking distance. Only issue is this weekend I guess they had a group of kids or teenagers for volleyball tournament and 4am these kids running and banging on the doors. Tampa in general is boring so I came for the state park and a Halloween houses that 20 mins away. Breakfast room is pretty big and clean and they do free ice-cream at 8pm when he came this weekend.

  Reserved a king room. They"accidentally" gave our room to someone else. They have is the only king room left, which was a handicapped accessible room. The bed is six inches off the floor and I had a spring in my back the entire time I slept. There is no vanity, just a small sink tucked into the corner of the bathroom. The tub walls are so low, the shower curtain is ineffective, and the floor of the bathroom is soaked by the time you finish showering. And our room is directly behind the bank of elevators, so every time one of them would would go up or down or opened. We knew. And with a hotel full of cheerleaders, we knew they opened and closed a lot. I have stayed at worse, but by far, it's the worst Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at.

  Nice hotel with very warm service, decent breakfast with Costa Coffee and even free icecream at night. Around the hotel I saw a few deer a few times. The rooms are clean and the pool area is well taken care of. I stay a lot in IHG hotels and this, being a Holiday Inn Express, is definitely one of the nicest hotels under the HI Express brand.

  Location is great and beds are comfy. That's as far as the good stuff goes. Keegan and Miguel, the 2 hotel reps I engaged with while there, were not great. Keegan was always flustered and in a hurry, Miguel was indifferent and had zero customer service skills. Rooms were okay, we got the presidential suite but it was far from presidential. The hot water took forever to come through and the AC was extremely weak. We were sweating the entire time we were in the room. Also, after checking out a night early because the place was so hot, we received this weird email below. It really confused us to be told we have to check out twice. "Thank you so much for staying with us at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Tampa-I-75 at Bruce B. Downs. The check-out time is 11:00 and it is easy to check out of your room. For your convenience, we attached in this email your folio of charges made during your stay. Once you review all billing charges, you can check out automatically or stop by the Front Desk to review your final bill."
