Very nice staff, clean and updated room. I had two big dogs and it was no problem. Comfortable and a nice pool. I will be back and recommend.

Stayed 2 nights with family to attend UF graduation (go gators!) in order to avoid $2k/nt rooms in Gainesville. 45mins from UF which was fine - easy trip. Quiet, relatively safe area with fast food, CVS, etc within a mile or so away. Front desk staff were very kind and friendly. Not a ton of breakfast offerings, but enough that you can find something you like. Waffle maker was popular for kids and adults alike. Room was decent and a good size. Everything “looked” clean*. (*Read to the end.) Bed was comfortable but my husband found it a little firm. Small pillows but they worked fine for me! Hubs sat in the chair and he said was very uncomfortable, but we were barely in the room so it didn’t matter. We were satisfied with the room until the 2nd day after we showered. Shower was awesome - great pressure - but I stepped out and walked to the sink then the bed. The floor felt gritty and when I went to put my socks on, I noticed my feet were black just from walking that short distance. Black. I had to wet a towel with soap and water and thoroughly wash my feet. I never walk barefoot in a hotel room, but I did just to shower. I was completely grossed out. I mentioned it to my family who stayed 2 doors down and they said the same thing happened to them. It would be so simple for the housekeeping staff to mop upon exit (this could be a mgmt issue), but it clearly wasn’t. We reported this to the front desk who said they would take immediate action. Overall, I enjoyed my stay - and would stay there again if any more of my nieces/nephews graduate from UF. I’d just check the floors first and wear shower shoes!

Ty was the front desk clerk and he could not have been nicer. Our car broke down and we had to stay in town overnight for it to be fixed. He was truly compassionate.
Rooms were nice and clean. My only complaint, other than my sister and her hot flashes, is that I needed more bedding/thicker blankets. She was dying hot so the ac was low and I froze.
Otherwise, I'd highly recommend

When we arrived I was initially very skeptical and were hoping the rooms were not old and outdated. I was delighted to find that the room I stayed in had most certainly been updated with a walk in shower, hard flooring and was very clean and comfortable. My room had a smart television with lots of channels.
The continental breakfast was more than adequate with eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy (one morning), potatoes (another morning), muffins, oatmeal packets, English muffins, yogurt, four choices of dry cereal, orange juice, apple juice, apples and bananas.
The staff was very helpful in multiple ways even getting into housekeeping in the middle of the night for us in an emergency.
The most memorable thing was the gazebo and patio where we could just hang out with our group of 20. It was such a delight. There was even a large grill available.
Safety was well cared for. The parking lots and gazebo were well lit and we had no issues and were always very comfortable.
It was a great stay and would definitely stay there again.
