  I had a great experience at this Holiday Inn! Marlin and Breanna provided outstanding service they were both very respectful, attentive, and quick to make sure everything was taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came out fast and fresh. Their professionalism and positive attitude really made the visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  Everyone was very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived until check out. The room could have been cleaned a little deeper before it was checked in to and needs some maintenance but it was comfortable and not horrible. This was a 4th of July family getaway and our group of 15 had an amazing stay. The pool is really nice and well kept with a bar. The breakfast was delicious.

  Angele is terrific ….. keeps the dining room clean, keeps food hot and fresh AND correctly cooked (not burnt, not dry), and keeps people Happy :) I’ve been here 3 times, completely different dates, and compared to the +50 IHG hotels I’ve been to, Angele makes the breakfast here worth having 👍

  Our stay was so disappointing that we checked in and left less than 30 minutes later. I booked this property because of its proximity to Tropicana Field and, at 33 weeks pregnant, I simply needed a comfortable place to rest before my family drove home the next morning. I had modest expectations, but the experience fell far below them. When I arrived, I asked about early check-in and was told there was no availability, which was understandable. However, although I had previously been told our luggage could be held until check-in, the front desk did not offer this option, forcing us to return everything to our car before heading to the game. When we returned a few hours later, we were assigned a room on the fourth floor. Unfortunately, upon entering, we found blood on the sheets. After calling the front desk, we were asked to come back downstairs to be reassigned. During this process, the elevator smelled strongly of marijuana, and the building itself had a persistent unpleasant odor. We were then moved to a first-floor room. The pool was directly outside the window, and the strong chlorine smell came into the room. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool and comfortable, especially with the Florida heat and humidity. At that point, we were exhausted and decided to leave rather than stay the night. We canceled our plans for the following day, including visiting the Sunken Gardens, and drove home instead. What was supposed to be a relaxing family trip turned into a frustrating and costly disappointment. One additional thing future guests should know: there appears to be little to no financial benefit to booking this property through Airbnb. In fact, guests who book through Airbnb are not eligible for the complimentary breakfast offered through direct bookings and are instead charged $15 per person. Had I known this beforehand, I would have booked directly with the hotel. Overall, this was a waste of time and money and completely derailed our family's trip. I would not stay here again.

  We were told at the time we made our reservation that early check-in would be available for us (family of 2 adults and 2 children) only to arrive at 10am and be told nothing would be available until 11am. We checked at 11am and were told not until 12pm, then again told nothing was ready at 12pm. We had an appointment at 1, so we had lunch and went to our appointment. When we checked in at 4ish, the room had an overwhelming smell of weed. It was so bad that we could not stay and left for another hotel in a MUCH better area. Not a family friendly hotel, the area of the hotel was quite sketchy (adult store next door)!
