  We used to sleep here is close to beach is close to Walmart, the rooms always are clean, they have breakfast and the people in front desk is nice. If good place for go with kids too.

  Great location close to the beach, amazing service by Robert and Marcey. They were super friendly and helpful. The entire place was very clean and well kept. Definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean place to stay with good service.

  We had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Express while attending the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Pete, where my son’s documentary was featured. Traveling with a wheelchair can be difficult, and the manager, Robert, went above and beyond for our family. After a delayed flight, we arrived late Wednesday night and were accidentally placed in a hearing-accessible room instead of a wheelchair-accessible room. Robert immediately found us a wheelchair-accessible room, brought a shower chair to our room around midnight, and made sure everything was completely straightened out the next morning. His kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation so much easier. The breakfast was wonderful, the coffee station was great, and the staff was very welcoming. We are so grateful for Robert’s help and will definitely stay here again when we visit St. Pete.

  One of the best IHG properties we have stayed in within the USA. Emily at the front desk greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality. This was a birthday celebration and she made a goodie bag with cheerful balloons that greeted me in our room. We are platinum elite members and we're upgraded to 5th floor suite with a bay view. The hotel has a great private and fenced pool/hottub area with lots of great seating at either loungers or round tables with umbrellas. There are parts in sun and parts in shade which is great. Hot tub is actually HOT and pool is refreshing. There are outdoor lounging areas around nice gas firepits as well. Considering this property is fully surrounded by roads and a commercial parking lot it manages to be a nice little oasis. The breakfast items were hot and good enough. We are glad they serve either bacon or pork sausage with the eggs every day. The fresh ground and brewed coffee was rhe best we have had at a USA IHG property. Even decaf was good. And they have real half and half instead of that toxic powdered creamer or fake cream products. Lastly, the hotel has a free shuttle that will take you to any beach, restaurant, etc within 5 miles. If you have never been to this area that is a LOT of beaches and restaurants. Given that beach parking is hard to find and a staggering $5/hour this is a fabulous perk. You can call ahead and make a shuttle reservation if you have a time you are locked into. This is how IHG properties used to be when owners cared about hospitality and guest experience. All in all a great stay and we will return.

  I want to start with the positives first: 1. Amazing Location - Shares parking lot with Walmart & stones throw away from Dunkin. 2. Daily hot breakfast - Even though the menu does not change but they have variety of eggs (not the boring scrambled eggs), fresh pancakes, protein choices, cereal etc. 3. The shuttle service to beach. Now would like to list the multiple service failures during our stay, which significantly affected the overall quality & experience of our trip. In hospitality, even a single lapse can leave a negative impression unfortunately, we encountered several. 1. The breakfast service staff never smiled even once. Felt more like they were not happy to be working there. We don’t like to judge people but they were definitely unhappy to be there. 2. There was a clear breakdown in communication between the front desk and housekeeping. Despite informing the reception at 8:00 AM of our request for room cleaning, this was not relayed to the appropriate staff until much later in the day. When we followed up at 4:00 PM, the housekeeping supervisor who initially declined the request, then assured us the room would be cleaned promptly. However, after waiting an additional hour with no action, we had to contact the front desk multiple times and ultimately escalate the matter to the manager before the room was finally serviced. BTW conversation with manager was also least pleasant. There was no ownership, just excuses and defensive. 3. When we approached a housekeeping staff member on the 4th floor regarding the delay, we were met with highly unprofessional behavior and inappropriate language, which was both surprising and unacceptable. One of the primary reasons we chose a hotel at a significantly higher cost over an Air BNB was the expectation of consistent cleanliness and daily housekeeping. Instead, our room went unserviced for two consecutive days, and we ended up using the same linens for three nights. It was only after repeated follow-ups that any action was taken. Staff we encountered were not fit for the roles (manager, supervisor) in hospitality industry. Overall, this experience fell well below expectations and unfortunately overshadowed our entire stay. As a result, we will not be returning and feel compelled to share our experience with others, specially Costco customers who pay $$ for the stay and experience.
