  I had the best experience here and the best night's sleep. The jucuzzi room close to side entry was perfect for my needs as a person with limited mobility. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and staff was very accommodating. If I wasn't traveling on, I would stay here for several days.

  (This was the first message sent, got a reply back by an unidentified “Management” team member, then got escalated to the General Manager Richard Wilburt. The long and the short of this communication was that we were not due any consideration for a refund because we booked through Expedia and IHG directly. Subsequent messages followed without this General Manager showing an ounce of empathy or taking any responsibility for his team failing us as customers on every level. His solution was to offer me 15,000 reward points which I rejected because I will never stay at an IHG property again. They deserve every negative review they get from this timeframe and I would have given them a zero rating if given the option. DO NOT GIVE THIS DISGRACE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.) My family of 4 just completed a 2 night stay at the your hotel 28-29 August 2026, with check out on Sunday 30 August 2026 and it was literally the worst hotel stay I personally have ever had. We booked this location because my daughter’s 12 year old travel softball team competed in a large tournament about 10 minutes from the hotel. Your hotel definitely benefited from this tournament because not only did most of my daughter’s teammates and parents stay there, members and parents of the other competing teams stayed there as well. Around 9:00PM on both Friday and Saturday night an overwhelming smell of marijuana being smoked engulfed our hallway, and it only got stronger throughout the wee hours of the morning. I did not visit the third floor but the smell was extremely strong on the first and second floors. Many of the parents on our team, complained but to no avail. My wife and I also complained but were told there was basically nothing they could do. I personally spoke to Dennis, the night clerk, and he was inundated with complaints but consistently said there was nothing he could do other then alert his management team. Who knows whether that was done or not. I find it absolutely disgraceful that this hotel would allow, an illegal drug in Florida to be smoked, in a hotel brimming with impressionable children. We got to the point where we had to place our own allotment of bath towels under our door in an attempt to neutralize the stench. I would assume that most of your customers have a reasonable expectation that something like this would not, and more importantly, should not occur. However, if it did, most would think the hotel would do all they could to rectify the situation. Your hotel and staff completely failed us as paying customers, and more importantly as parents, on every level. I am expecting, at the very least, the return of all the monies we spent to stay at your hotel plus extra consideration whatever that may be. I am willing to bet that the people who are going to review this message have children and should ask themselves, “what if that were me and my children stuck in that situation”? I am demanding an immediate response to this message because I’m quite certain you don’t want this to turn into a negative review on every existing travel site and social media platform. You should all be ashamed to tout the caring of families.

  Excellent. Friendly staff, clean throughout. Super comfy bed. Breakfast was delightful. Price was fair. Thank you!

  Needs a little love but location is amazing if you love silver springs. Staff here is always amazing. I cant count how many times ive stayed here, and the service is always just as amazing. The rooms do need a little love but its older and nothing really wrong with it at all. Just needs a current remodel/refresher.

  Absolutely 💯 love ❤️ this hotel 🏨 It is new & clean & the staff is engaged & friendly. We also loved the close proximity to our key visit locations including City Light Church & the Veterans Helping Veterans Center. Based on these factors & price, this could become our Ocala home when visiting our Veterans For Worship veteran ministry family & friends.
