  " Lake view " was obscured by years of crud. Room was Musty. ( Breakfast for additional $22.00 ) The Bar was closed . The Grounds were unkept, pool areas were a mess. Garden hose unravelled out front and in back for days. Next to the ladder on the ground.Only 2 towels were stocked on their Cart. The hot tub had chilly water. Room was clean. Location was convenient.

  Friendly staff, except for the cook at the buffet. He had a rotten attitude. They advertise in the lobby and in the dining room about a full service menu, with ouctures of burgers etc but we were told they havent had that in a long while, yet they keep promoting it. Greasy handprint on a dirty window, rusted vents, stained carpets, pieces of door trim missing, dirty hallways, etc!!!!

  Stayed 3 days and 2 nights. Pros: Convenient Location. Friendly staff and guests. Decent bedding. Cons: Neglected establishment. Shower fixtures loose and leaking. The toilet in the bathroom was patched with TAPE! We reported out AC out at 8am they never came. Went back at 4pm and they sent someone around 6pm. Room felt humid (humidifier in room filled every 4hrs) drawers smelt like mildew. Make up/food/ grime splats on walls. Attention to detail would go along way in making the experience more enjoyable. The pool furniture looks like it was donated, nothing is wiped down or staged. More like an RV park than a hotel.

  After checking in, we went to our room to find it was not cleaned and beds looked like someone was sleeping there. Got sent to another room which at first appeared to be cleaned. The air conditioner was loud and made a huge bang when it went off. I found a second TV remote in the bed. The shower faucet was hanging loose, held on with caulk. The real clincher to my rating is when I looked at my feet from walking barefoot in the room; they were filthy like I had walked outside. We were going to say something but the staff just automatically say they are sorry, we will add points to your account. There was no indication anyone working there wanted to be there.

  Not recommended until it is updated and hire a responsible cleaning crew. Filthy throughout and totally dissappointing. Back in the 70s it was probably a good hotel but way outdated and not kept up at all. Diapers and trash in the parking lot, room floors were disgusting. Only the front desk receptionist was friendly. Otherwise keep your distance from this one.
