I am so disappointed and aggrevated by the service I received at this hotel. I've stayed at several of this hotel chains and never had such a terrible disgusting service.
We arrived Wednesday night and had to go and ask for towels. And ever night since we checked out today Monday.
Friday I had to question if we get will have our room serviced. Saturday they claim to service the room, all they did was made the bed. No towels again and didn't clean the sink or tub or even vacuum. Mind you we had a suite. To top it off, they supposedly service the room yesterday Sunday and I had no shower gel, had to use shampoo to for my shower. Again no towels or shower mat. They place my pajamas on the night after making the bed.
I won't even mention the front desk attitude from these people. One would think in this day and age people not fail to understand that customer serve makes a business.
Pictures to support my point.

We stayed for two nights. Thankfully, we did not stay for longer, I am sorry to say. We were a family of four people staying in this room. We were charged a double room fee and ended up getting a single because of an internal mistake on your part: if after an inspection, you have to make repairs, or as happened in this case, paint the room, you should have marked it as PM, so that Front Desk does not have it in its system as available. This is what left us with a lower-grade room
in the first place and you just left two towels for the second night and never left coffee or replacement plastic cups. Tried to contact reception and the call never got through. Also, ventilator in the bathroom did not work, we had very little water pressure in the faucet (happy to send videos if requested), and there were remnants of nails sticking out of the sink counter where there used to be a drawer—since we have a baby, it is a potential hazard and for anyone a lawsuit right there. The room’s door did not fully close automatically—you had to apply considerable force to pull it closed. Further, as you can see in the pictures, the baby seats in the cafeteria were never fully cleaned. Finally, the emergency doors in our building did not open automatically upon pressing the emergency button: you had to press doors MANUALLY to get out, which is not only difficult for kids/disabled guests, but I suspect is in flagrant violation of fire regulations (happy to send videos if requested). So, no, I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are travelling with family.

We had a handicap room with a roll in shower reserved, I don't see how this can be ADA approved. The room was not clean. I found a fake eyelash on the bathroom room. At first I chulked it up to maybe it was missed. We left and came back that evening. When we went to get a shower I noticed all the hair on the wall and shower seat. I began wiping up the floor and was able to get dirt marks off. I noticed all kinds of little papers on the floor meaning it wasn't vacuumed. I later found hair on the bed that was not ours. When my husband called down to the front desk to let the lady know we weren't happy the cord fell out of the phone, the plug was broken. My husband is a double amputee where the shower chair is on the wall there is no way to reach the shampoo or soap. In addition if I wasn't there to move the water head to hit him the water would have never reached him. There is no way for a person in a wheelchair to move the water spout. Also they have a regular sink, no way for a wheelchair to get up to the sink. This would have been expected if I hadn't booked a handicap room, but I did. Also when you come out of the bathroom there isn't much turning radius for a wheelchair without hitting a wall where the refrigerator is located. When you enter the room there is a slight hill making it very difficult for someone to maneuver on carpet. This room is very tight for a wheelchair. The breakfast was OK. Just make sure you are down there before 0900. At 0900 the man closed the entrance door to the breakfast room as if to say you need to get your food because at 0930 this is shut down. The pictures on line make it like bright and light it's more gray and dark. I wasn't happy with my stay.

The Holiday Inn Express is a clean & beautiful hotel. All of the managers especially Simone, Sandra, Sharmain & Kenny were exceptional in providing our every need. My husband & I stayed weekly for 12 weeks because I worked at Jersey College nearby. This hotel is centrally located to all aspects of entertainment including many various cuisines, and 30 minutes to the beach of Fort Lauderdale. We had a blast! Their breakfast was excellent including mini cheese omelettes, a variety of breads, muffins, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal. They made our stay so Pleasant. The hotel also includes an outdoor pool, work out room…. Looking forward to coming back again to this family atmosphere!

I believe the front desk is your first impression of how a hotel stay will be and says alot about how it is managed. Simone greated me as soon as I walked in the door. She is a very pleasant young lady and was very gracious. She asked that if there was anything that is needed she good help or steer me in the right direction. I did ask Simone if there were any possible room upgrades. She checked and then was able to give me a room that was great! Wonderful room and very unexpected.
I wanted to write this review because good people in organizations need to be recognized, especially in todays environment. Simone is a great representative for Holiday Inn and it needs/should be recognized.
Thank you
