  The bathroom had a very strong chemical smell that was unpleasant throughout our stay. We also weren't given enough bath towels for our room. When I asked the front desk for more towels, I was met with attitude instead of friendly customer service. The pool was another disappointment. We had to ask for pool towels, and the front desk initially argued that we already had towels until we explained that those were for showering and that we needed separate towels for the pool. The pool itself had leaves in it, and the ant problem around the pool was so bad that it was difficult to sit and relax without being surrounded by ants.

  I stayed at this HIE in June. The room was good, very clean, AC worked well, all the outlets were working. Only complaint about the room is the key cards all quit working after 1-2 uses, so I ended up getting them re coded several times. My biggest complaint comes from the customer service. I am an online college student and had an exam due the night I stayed at this hotel, so at 10:00 PM I went into one of the conference rooms to take the exam (which was proctored) and half way through I was rudely interrupted and forced to leave the room by hotel staff. They said I couldn’t use the room unless I paid $250, which was ridiculous. It was 10:00 PM at night and I had an hour long exam that I needed to complete and this lady kicked me out of the vacant conference room even after I explained I was taking said exam. Because that exam was proctored, I had to explain to my professor and my proctors why I was moving around in the middle of our main course exam. All in all, good room, bad key cards, and TERRIBLE customer service.

  This hotel needs some cosmetic renovation. My bed was clean- I check my bed with a black light before I get settled- I travel a lot and my coworkers have bed bug stories!!!! The walls and my chaise needs to be cleaned but I avoided touching that and just asked for extra towels. I will stay there again because of the service. The staff are so thoughtful and accommodating. I was with my work group and we celebrated a coworker's bday. The lady at the front desk helped set up a little area with tables to have a celebration. I forgot her name but she had facial piercings. I did not eat the Breakfast. The food was cold and potatoes were undercooked. Everyday I looked in the fridge- There was nothing. The muffins were also out and I asked if there were anymore in the back - the young girl said no. Anyway, I needed a place to stay for a work trip and I did my research so I came prepared. Walmart and Aldi is down the street.

  The lady that checked us is was super sweet. The room was pretty clean, beds were comfy & the A/C worked AMAZING! We did find a little mold in the shower & found a dead bug under the clock. Breakfast on the other hand, was not fantastic. Food was not up to par. The French toast and cinnamon rolls were hard and all food was not refilled as often as they should be. Also, the food area and tables were not clean or cleaned while we were at breakfast. With a little attention to deal, this could have been a 5 start stay.
