  We reserved a room at this hotel through hotels.com. When we arrived to check in, the front desk clerk informed us that they did not have a room for us and we would need to call hotels.com for a refund. They put the responsibility on hotels.com, however they could have provided good customer service by contacting us prior to check in to let us know they did not have a room for us that night. Instead, we had to find out at the very last minute.

  We stayed here as part of a wedding party and were placed on a floor under construction. While I understand renovations happen, we were woken up at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday by loud sanding machines and vacuums in the hallway. For the price we paid, it’s unacceptable to have that level of noise so early—especially on a weekend. Guests should not be booked on floors with active construction.

  .We had a frustrating experience during our stay. At check-in, we were initially given keys to room 522. The receptionist mentioned there was construction and said she was assigning us a better room. However, when we entered, we found someone else’s belongings spread across the room—clearly an occupied space. We returned to the front desk, and to her credit, the receptionist was very apologetic and kind. She quickly assigned us another room, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the new room was also on a floor under construction. While I understand renovations happen, Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. we were woken up by loud sanding machines and vacuums in the hallway. That’s unacceptable, especially for a weekend stay and considering the price we paid. If construction is ongoing, guests should not be placed on those floors—or at the very least should be warned about the early morning noise

  Building was located in a great spot for Pensacola. Currently under renovation. Beds were very comfy.

  I booked this hotel and paid a $150 premium over the Hilton because I liked the location for an anniversary night out with the wife. I did not realize that this place is filthy and under construction, and had I known that I'd have chose another hotel (and saved money). I let them know that the shower head was broken free from the wall, there as pubic hair (not ours) on the floor of the bathroom, and that the complimentary snack bar.. had no snacks. And they offered me some rewards points in an attempt to rectify the poor experience.. but I don't want reward points, I want my $ back.
