  Stayed here twice now. The location is fantastic. You can pretty much walk anywhere you want to be and there is plenty of parking if you plan on driving off the beach. The breakfast is not complimentary, but very delicious. If you bring a laptop and a HDMI cable you can pretty much watch any of your streaming services during down time by switching the source to your laptop. Rooms are standard and comfy. I slept great and had some lovely naps. Right on the beach and the pool is great. Staff is fantastic and understanding.

  I stayed there this past weekend, and this place made our girl's 5th birthday even MORE special! Riley at the front desk was such a gem. She went above and beyond in regards to our room and our guest experience in so many ways. I cannot thank her enough!! The restaurant food was delicious, and the staff were all so enjoyable! We had Cathy as our waitress our first night, and then also the next day out at the pool. We had Shane as our waiter in the restaurant, & Jimmy would check on us and the service we were getting. The all provided such attentive care to not only us adults, but to our little birthday girl as well. She would get little random trinkets from each of them throughout the resort that made her light up with joy! The mermaids and pirate shows were the icing on the cake. Those that played these roles truly treated all the kids with importance. The property itself was all well kept from the rooms, to the pool area, to the beach. We have nothing but awesome things to say about not only the staff, but the resort as well. I would give you all 20 gold stars if I could. Thank you all so much for everything, truly. We came for the mermaids, but fell in love with everything else. We will be back!

  As IHG Diamond Elite members, we stay at a variety of hotels and resorts throughout the year, and our experience at Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach stands out as one of the best family vacations we’ve had. The front desk team deserves special recognition. Riley, Jaxson, and Justin consistently greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality every time we walked through the lobby. Every day we received thoughtful text message updates checking in on our stay, which made us feel valued and cared for. Front desk work can be incredibly busy and demanding, yet this team always made us feel welcome and appreciated. Their positive energy set the tone for our entire stay. The resort itself is packed with activities for families. Our boys are one and two years old, and they absolutely loved the lazy river and pool area. The pirate and mermaid visits added a special touch that created moments of pure wonder and excitement for them. Watching their faces light up throughout the week was something we’ll never forget. We also want to recognize Garrett from Food & Beverage for his excellent service. The onsite dining was another highlight of our stay. The food was consistently delicious, portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for a beachfront resort. Having quality dining options right on property made traveling with young children so much easier. The only constructive feedback we would offer involves the breakfast charge for very young children. Our boys are one and two years old and mostly shared food from our plates. As any parent of toddlers knows, breakfast can be unpredictable. Some mornings they eat everything in sight, and other mornings they survive on two pieces of fruit and a dream. Paying $15 per child for children this young felt a bit steep, especially when they were seated in high chairs and primarily eating from their parents’ meals. A more flexible policy for toddlers under a certain age would be appreciated by many families. What we appreciated most was that once we arrived, there was really no need to leave the resort. Between the pools, beach access, family activities, entertainment, and dining options, everything we needed was right there. For parents traveling with young children, that convenience is priceless. Thank you to the entire Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach team for creating such a welcoming and memorable experience for our family. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.

  We had a great overnight stay here! We booked very last minute and had a beautiful double queen with a bay view. Room was exactly as described—very clean! Checked in right at 4. It definitely felt like a resort—beautiful hotel and grounds. The night we were there, the hotel was sold out—so should have felt really busy, but it did not! The pool had lots of kids and activities all day. Happy Hour 3-5! We stayed here specifically for the easy beach access! Easy walk to the beach from hotel. We rented chairs quickly and had the best day!! (4 chairs & umbrella $100)

  As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I stay at a lot of hotels, and I can confidently say that our experience at Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach exceeded expectations. What stood out most was the people. From the moment we checked in until the day we left, every interaction felt genuine and welcoming. The front desk staff, food service team, and housekeeping crew all went above and beyond to make our family feel at home. You can tell there is a culture here that values connection, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. A special thank you to Sali, Brandon, and Hali from food services. Each of them took the time to engage with our family, learn our names, and make us feel valued throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I’d also like to recognize their manager, Billy, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the exceptional service provided by his team. Traveling with toddlers can sometimes be stressful, but this resort made it easy. There were so many family-friendly activities and amenities that kept our boys entertained and excited throughout the trip. Seeing their faces light up every day made the vacation worth every penny. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience for our family. We arrived as guests and left feeling like we had spent the week with friends. We look forward to returning again soon.
