  Holiday Inn Express Pensacola Beach by IHG was a wonderful place to stay during my trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, the beach access was excellent, and the staff were friendly throughout my stay. I especially loved being able to easily walk to the beach and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The location was also very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The only issue I experienced was with the shower. The tub would not drain properly, which left me standing in several inches of water while showering, and the bathtub itself was extremely slick. Aside from that, I had a very enjoyable stay and would still recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and beach access.

  I am a 27 year federal employee and I have traveled many times during my career. I have never been more impressed by two employees Ashley and Stephanie. Ashley was absolutely amazing. I have never been treated with such respect and kindness. Ashley personally took the time to have conversation with me and ensured I was completely taken care of and all my needs were met. I was so impressed with her attention to detail and how professional she was. Ashley even went the extra mile to provide me a better room than I originally reserved. THIS LADY SHOULD BE THE MANAGER IF SHE IS NOT ALEADY. A superior cut above of anywhere I have stayed in my 27 yrs on govt travel. Stephanie is new, but she was very attentive and was very nice. Stephanie welcomed me also with the upmost respect. They both have earned all my future stays when I come to Pensacola in the future.

  The good: For what I paid, the stay was okay. Can’t beat a free breakfast and being able to walk right out to the beach from the hotel. The rooms didn’t have carpet which is great. The bathrooms had Dove soap products, so if you forgot yours at home, it didn’t feel like you were washing your hair and body with the cheap crap that dries your skin out. The not so great: the floors of the room felt disgusting and not well cleaned, so bring yourself a pair of house slippers. The first day we arrived I was wearing white socks and the bottoms of them became black from the very few times I took my shoes off. The staff gave me contradictory answers in regards to how the rooms are set up. The night time ladies told me that ALL the rooms have doors that connect to another room. The guy in the morning told me that’s not true. I was unlucky enough to get a room with a connecting door to the room next to me. They are not well insulated/sound proof. I could hear everything that was going on next door. So, if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, I’d avoid this place. Our AC unit in the room was also rather loud. When it would kick on and off, it sounded like a jet engine (it wasn’t from planes outside, I’m a huge plane nerd). I told the staff and they said they would sent maintenance, but they never did.

  This hotel is clean , spacious, has a pool, free breakfast and it right on the beach. Pictures are as posted. All the rooms are facing the gulf…so every room has a view. It was an awesome stay for us.
