Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, The Reef Hotel at Seahaven Beach Resorts combines value and fun into the perfect location on Panama City Beach. Four floors offer flexible accommodations all with private balconies and incredible views!
There’s over one-quarter mile of private beach for your to explore or to simply relax and enjoy the surf. If you’d rather keep the sand out of your toes, you can cool off in the large pool or grab a seat and relax on the pool deck. During the Summer season, a Kids Club is hosted by the Seahaven Beach Resorts mascot, Finley. The coolest Shark on the Beach!
They will enjoy different activities each day, both inside and out. And best of all, it’s free to all guests of The Reef Hotel. On-site dining is available just steps away from The Reef at Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant and Tiki Bar. And, when staying at Seahaven Beach Resorts kids eat free at Sharky’s!
There was limited parking, due to 2 restaurants being on either side of the hotel. The rooms were not as clean as they should've been and the hotel itself needs to be maintained better. Oh, and we were kept awake from music playing at Senor Frogs next door until 1:30 am.

Didn’t really look at the reviews before I booked this hotel ,, and let me tell ya it was horrendous in the room! The beach view was awesome the pool was nice but the room horrible !! No trash can the microwave was disgusting this room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time door were nasty it was just very disgusting . If I wasn’t 10 hours away and hadn’t booked it on Booking .com I would have left . But you just can’t get a refund from booking like that . So we had to stay we canes. From Treasure Island Florida and decided to go to Panama and I made a snap decision and booked it in the car without researching it first . Learned my lesson with that !!! Such a beautiful beach and place to be ruined with a disgusting room . And it still wasn’t real cheap !! If the room would have been cleaned it would have been okay but it wasn’t and hasn’t been for very long time the elevator was also very worn and nasty !!

⭐ 1/5 Stars - Absolute worst stay on the strip. This place is not it!
Do not waste your money here. Our issues started the minute we arrived when we weren’t even in their system. We were forced to sit around and wait for an upper manager just to get us queued in.The parking situation is an absolute logistical nightmare. They charge you a fee to park, but the tiny lot is completely shared with the adjacent restaurant, making it nearly impossible to find a space at peak hours. I spent way too much time circling the packed lot just looking for a spot.On top of that, the upkeep is non-existent. There is heavy, overflowing trash building up in the common areas, which is completely unsanitary. Basic housekeeping never once checked in on us or asked if we needed fresh trash bags or clean linens during our entire stay. To make matters worse, their "private" beach area isn't private at all—it's completely wide open and everyone walks right through it.Management completely neglects this property because they own the restaurant next door and profit off the chaos while paying hotel guests suffer. Take my advice: this place is not it. Pay the extra money to stay at a better hotel down the strip and you will get a much better, stress-free experience. Pay more, get more, and actually enjoy your stay!

this is clearly an older facility. could use some renovations... paint, weather striping on the doors ....to class it up a little.
BUT.... for $140 and being right on the beach... i have zero complaints
during our stay.... the attendants at the front desk were very friendly and provided good customer service. we didn't need much or ask for much. only issue we had was the remote to the tv wasn't functioning well and the attendant just gave us a replacement and we were back in business.
the bed was clean. linens were stain free. no bugs to be seen anywhere in the room. shower and toilets were clean. good water pressure.
would have been nice to have 2 Adirondack chairs instead of just the 1.... but as hot as it was, we were content to just stay inside.
there is just 1 elevator.... and it was functioning just fine during our stay.
Being in between Senior Froggs and Sharkeys made it very convenient to not have to drive anywhere to get our 'drink' on. Which was very nice considering the parking situation (limited and shared with Sharkey's)
The hotel was not over crowded. The people that were there did not disturb by being too loud and obnoxious.
Beach was clean and the people there were also not loud and inconsiderate.
All in all.... I would not hesitate to stay here again
Edited to add a few other thoughts...
The Summit charges WAY more and not even they offer complimentary beach towels nor do they offer maid service every day to tidy your room.
I would also like to point out that this location only has 1 pool and so the terrible review stating that BOTH pools were dirty clearly was not about this location or they were just flat out fabricating a negative review
