The parking Is overall the worst part about this place, since people at sharkys are allowed to park it takes 30 minutes to even find a spot and if you don’t you have to park a block away across the road as if we’re not literally paying for it, people are overly greedy and won’t even let the people staying park. The floors were pretty nasty and not even just sand our towels ended up turning black from drying the floor. Room service isnt too great as we had to ask multiple times for one thing, out shower floor was squishy like it was about to fall through, and the water never got hot. I don’t want to be too negative about it since for beachfront and a pool it was pretty nice

I booked this SCAM hotel through Expedia for a family trip and was extremely disappointed with my experience. When I checked in, I asked the front desk associate about the hotel because I had heard mixed reviews. Surprisingly, one of the first questions I was asked was whether I had read the reviews before booking. At the time, I thought it was an odd question. After experiencing the property firsthand, I understood why it was asked. I was informed that our room was on the third floor and that the elevator was out of service. I was traveling with my mother, who has a knee condition, so climbing several flights of stairs was difficult for her. The stairwell also had a strong urine odor. When we entered the room, there was a noticeable moldy smell, and the bathroom was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. I actually went to Walmart, purchased cleaning supplies, and cleaned the bathroom myself because I wanted to make the best of our stay. The final and most serious issue was the room's security. Before leaving for dinner, I discovered that the door latch and deadbolt would not lock properly. There was no way I was going to leave my belongings in an unsecured room or ask my family to sleep there. At that point, I immediately notified the front desk that we had to leave and find another hotel. I want to recognize Taylor and Shanice at the front desk for being courteous and professional. Taylor documented the issues and assisted me with the refund process, and Shanice followed up by contacting management on my behalf. Unfortunately, despite providing photos, receipts, and documentation supporting my concerns, I was only offered a partial refund after having to leave the property within hours of checking in for my 4 night stay. Guest safety, cleanliness, and basic room security should never be optional. I hope management takes these concerns seriously so future guests do not have the same experience my family and I did.

We are a family of 7 that stayed here a week. The rooms have black mold all in them The ceiling and the walls. The floors were nasty. The microwave was so rusted it couldnt be used bc the inside was falling down. The elevator was so sketchy it just bounced and shook, our last night it actually broke and went out of order. The cleaning crew never cleaned our room but when ask brought plenty of fresh towels and blankets. One night our daughter threw up in the bed and we ask for a new bed set to be delivered and placed on the table and they did make our bed instead which was nice. The cleaning crew was amazing front desk crew not so much. Pool closed at 7pm which tucked as it was red flags all week and we have littles. The refrigerator barely worked at all. I think this is the worst motel ive ever stayed at. However the sink area out side the bathroom was really nice and spacious. And the views were great. If your looking to stay here id probably double check it. Almost a thousand dollars for a nasty molded room. Also the parking. Oh where do I start the parking is absolutely the worst ever. You share a parking lot with sharkys so if your staying in the motel be ready to park a block away and across the road bc you wont find a park till almost 1qpm after shakes closes. Its ridiculous!!!!

The only positive thing about this hotel is that it was super cheap, but it was not a comfortable or accommodating stay at all.Our room was incredibly dirty when we arrived. There was food splatter on the walls that had never been cleaned off, and the floors looked completely unmopped. To make matters worse, the mattress was extremely hard and painful to sleep on.The service was non-existent. Our TV did not work, and after we asked to have someone look at it, nobody ever showed up. We also returned our dirty towels to get fresh ones, only to be told they completely ran out of clean towels.I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone ever. It may save you money, but it is absolutely not worth the discomfort and lack of basic service.

Worse room I have been in. Checked in late, had to go to the hotel next to it to check in. Got my keys and then drove to the hotel. Got there and the elevator was out of order. Walked up to the third floor and to the room. The keys that was issued didn't work. Walked back to my vehicle and drove to the office where I checked in. Got new keys and drove back. While walking up to the third floor again, several people was walking around smoking weed. Finally was able to get in the room, this was 1:00 am, and I carried my 3 kids to the room and found there was no blankets for the beds. My wife was smart enough that she had blankets from our house. We looked around and the floor was nasty, the sheet felt like they was dirty and not washed, the light switch in the bathroom only worked if you turned both switches on, there is a break in the floor, the ceiling was cracking. I had to cancel my second night and find another place to stay.
