  Our favorite place to stay for a reason! The rooms are gorgeous, updated and clean, the location is central to everything, and the service is top notch. Anna at The view and Rose at the seaglass bar made our stay even more amazing than it already was. Rose served us every single day and was so friendly and fast. She gave us the same great service whether we were the only 2 at the bar or if the bar was flooded with other guests. That woman works her tail off to provide amazing service.

  The rooms are older. There’s mold spots in the bathroom and the age shows from the carpets and doors. The view is pretty awesome. I loved being able to have my girls play in the kid area, pools, and beach. The hotel overall is great. Staff was good. They didn’t go out of their way, but did help when asked. Almost bought the breakfast for everyday, but didn’t. We ate there all day the first day, but chose not to the rest of the trip. The food in Panama is touristy food alone. Everything taste frozen and cooked. The hotel overall was a good stay if you choose to vacation in Panama. Definitely, the spot.

  I want to report the poor and discriminatory treatment I experienced during my stay at this hotel. I was charged a tip that I do not believe was deserved, especially considering the way we were treated. A tip should be optional and earned through good service, not automatically charged when the service provided was extremely poor. We paid for breakfast as part of our stay, but the hotel decides how many meal tickets to give guests. When we went to breakfast, we waited approximately 20 minutes and no one attended to us. In the end, we were told that we had to leave because they were about to close. Nobody had served us, and we left without having breakfast. If they were not going to serve us, why were we made to wait for 20 minutes? We had already paid for this service. The room service was also unacceptable. They did not even leave toilet paper, they did not make the beds, and honestly, it seemed like they came into the room and did practically nothing. What is especially upsetting is being charged a tip for a service that was neither good nor deserved. A tip should be optional and based on the quality of the service. In my experience, this hotel did not earn that tip. I also felt that we were treated differently and discriminated against during our stay, which made the experience even more uncomfortable and disappointing. I strongly recommend that the hotel review how its staff are treating guests and how these automatic charges are being applied. Based on my experience, I would recommend that other travelers look for a better hotel, because this hotel seems to find ways to charge guests for everything without providing the level of service they are paying for.

  We recently visited PCB and decided to stay here for the first 2 nights we were there. We absolutely loved it and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to the golf cart ride to and from the parking lot, down to the housekeeping crew. The room was clean and had everything we needed! The pools, bar, beach access was such a dream and we loved every minute. It has so much to offer for everyone - young and old. Great spot for couples, friends, or families! We made some vacation friends with some of the other guests as well. Other guests were so nice and it really started our trip off right. Within hours of arriving, we knew and decided that this would become a tradition and we will start our next trip to PCB with this resort! Can't wait to return next year!

  Holiday Inn needs to invest in some maintenance on the property, particularly the splash pad area. The protective rubber at the bottom of the slides has been mostly worn/chipped away, and my toddler ended up with multiple deep scrapes and bruises from the rough exposed concrete underneath. Generally, the property is very dated and needs some work, but the staff do their best with what they have. Senior management/corporate needs to assess the property and make necessary improvements. Its unfair to the staff who work hard for Holiday Inn to have to be the face of a property that is badly in need of an injection of funding to update/service/maintain things properly. The staff was wonderful all around in every area, but Holiday Inn executives/leadership need to do better for their guests and employees.
