  Love Holiday Inn Express always for our vacation we have stayed here a few times but this last stay housekeeping disappointed us. I ask to have housekeeping service for our room the night before and they didn’t come to clean our room I ask again if I could still have the room clean and they just went in there to take the trash and do only the beds nothing else was done. This is a first I always had bragged about this hotels but this location disappointed a little.

  We have stayed at hotels at the beach multiple times a year for years, and had great experiences at other hotels. We chose this one for the lazy river, and while the rooms with the 2 queen beds and bunk beds with separate kitchen and living room areas were spacious and a great addition; the staff was far from great aside from the employees who clean the rooms. One employee in particular came to my 8 year old son our 2nd morning at breakfast and told him he needed to have his shoes on to be in the breakfast area, which was the rules and I was not at all upset with him enforcing the rules, but he also said in a very rude tone to my EIGHT year old after that , “I told you that yesterday.” My 8 year old was never unattended at any point so had he actually told him that, we would have known. Even worse, as we were heading up to the room to get his shoes, very compliant, no complaints at all, the man comes back up to my 8 year old and said “and be careful with those plates today and try not to break anymore” and I said “what? He didn’t break any plates yesterday?” And he responded “well, a group of boys told me they saw him shattering plates yesterday” first of all, there wasn’t a group of boys anywhere on the property or beach that we ever saw at any point that we were there. Again, my son was never unattended. And you’d think they would’ve addressed the ADULT with this stuff not a CHILD. Very very poor choice to go to an 8 year old over his parent or guardian. My son spent the rest of his day concerned that he was in trouble by the hotel for accusing him of doing something wrong. Extremely disappointed in this interaction. The day was Wednesday, September 2nd 2026, roughly between 8:30-9:00 am. The employee was in shorts, a hotel shirt, and had a shaved head.

  Honestly love this place I’ve stayed here a few times and it has always been great love how they play a movie by the pool every night only down side my last visit half of the hot tub wasn’t working and the outside speakers for the music/movies were busted

  We love staying at the Holiday Inn Express in PCB. I have stayed many times over the years. The complimentary breakfast buffet is great, the rooms are always clean and staff is helpful and friendly. The pool and and lazy river are fun and you are steps away from the beach. Always a good time.

  This was an awful and embarrassing experience—the last thing anyone wants to deal with while on vacation. I paid for parking for the entire duration of my stay, yet there was no parking available. When I contacted the front desk for assistance, I was given no reasonable solution. As a result, I had no choice but to leave the property during the night, completely unplanned and extremely stressful, especially because I was traveling with children. I paid for a service that was not provided, and when I asked for help, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere, as this property did not provide the level of service or customer support I expected.
