  Nicoy was a wonderful help upon our check in. The breakfast is good rooms are clean. I highly recommend this place and Nicoy.

  Let me start off with the positive parts of this hotel. The staff we're very sweet, their breakfast was delicious! Although the coffee wasn't the best, it actually gave me acid, it was rather sour. Also, the hotel was not very expensive yet nicely centralized in Panama City. From this hotel you're close to everything, every attraction there is locally which is nice. You're not walking distance to the beach but close enough driving distance. One other thing was that it is a very pet friendly place. Love that they're so welcoming even if you have a dog. They even have doggie treats for them. Now the negatives, this hotel is plain. The rooms feel rather bland, feels like they need some cheap art or something to give them a little homie feel. The vinyl flooring was crazy cheap, rubbery and weren't installed properly. They had bubbles and you could feel how it just wasn't done right, probably rushed. The TV picture was terrible, 720p I think and probably the reason the picture quality was horrendous. The thing that annoyed me most was the night stand issue. My family and I had a 2 queen beds room and in between both beds was a shared night stand. So on both ends of the bed it was just empty. I think it was wasted space and could have put a night stand on at least one other corner so we didn't have to be sharing and putting our devices one over the other at night trying to charge them. It was just an annoyance and inconvenience. One other thing they need to fix is their hotel sign. The sign is located on the exit only entrance. The way to enter it has a massive dinosour golf place and you wouldn't know or think to enter through it. It was confusing on the first day we got there. Overall, I'd stay here again, simply because the price was right, centralized and the breakfast amazing. But the rooms need work. At least it wasn't some nasty roach motel.

  I give this hotel a 10. The rooms were well cleaned smell good throughout the whole hotel nice people and very friendly. My hubby and I took a trip down for our 27th anniversary which was June 6,2026

  Never again! If you are a person that needs cold air then do not stay here. As another reviewer stated the air is not cold and only seems to work when movement is in the room. When asking the front desk they stated to turn it on high and not auto however this did not help. I had to purchase a fan from a store which was unnecessary especially when traveling. Even with the fan it was still hot because it just blew the warm air. I had higher hopes since the hotel was supposedly just bought out and redone. The bed was ehh…Not the worst but not the best. I have severe back and hip pain so if you are someone that needs a comfortable bed then I would look elsewhere. The location is decent and close to a lot of restaurants and places for kids to enjoy however you do need a vehicle to get around and/or get to the beach as it is not close enough to walk. I thankfully had a car to drive but I just wanted to make the distance known since it does say the beach is 1.5 miles away. The food was awful. Waffles were premade and hard as a rock, yogurt tasted like gritty sand, and muffins were soggy. Unfortunately we had to always eat breakfast elsewhere. The front desk personnel were nice so none of the complaints were their fault.

  I don't recommend. When we arrived, the manager was talking to a men seems to be a friend or whatever, it was so uncomfortable checking in with a stranger right next to us trying to make conversation while we are giving our personal details. As a military family using IHG hotels we know how our perks works one of them being no required deposit, the front desk was giving us a non-sense explanation of why the deposit was required and its like.. i dont mind and I understand.. the point here is that its not required for us BUT ok. I just thought they need a bit more information about it. Rooms are eeghh.. I asked for a baby crib and the manager came with it leaving it as it it at the door.. In the whole road trip in other hotels we receive the crib fully ready to and someone put the crib accordingly in the rooms BUT not here. Gotta do it yourself. Anyway.. I moved some furniture to fit the crib and there was an open bag of cheetos down there so it was obvious they dont clean properly and that's exactly what I thought of the bathrooms. Last but not least: in the description they say hotel have area for dogs.. and nope. There's no grass for the dogs to go. It was a bad experience overall.
