This was our first experience at and Atwell Suites and I was blown away from the first step. King was exceptional in her service, as well as all the staff, but if you never get a second chance to make a good first impression, then King knocked it out of the park. Everything went well the whole time and we enjoyed everything!

For the price I was able to get a modern feel, clean atmosphere, an awesome room, and great staff from housekeeping to management. Called me by my name and asked how I was doing after I got food poisoning. I know I will be back

What a great hotel. One of the best i have stayed at. Outdoor pool, small bar with limited beer selection, service for bar food and a free breakfast. A nice weight and workout room. Very nice hotel that I would recommend anytime. The staff are great and if you are in he area, this is a good choice. Btw, price was right and it is very close to everything in the area. We are Duplin Wine drinkers and it was a 3 minute drive to their newest winery.

Family weekend trip with husband and two kids, and we all enjoyed our stay. From our extremely late night check-in, the gentleman was very nice and welcoming to us. The hotel was so nice; a great atmosphere from the lobby. I liked that we did not have to travel far up flights to our room, and thought it was a nice plus that there were not a lots of floors. The room was great, and the comfy beds were even better. We all slept really well each night! My family and I enjoyed a quick breakfast to start our day, and the staff was really helpful and friendly. One in particular could have been the manager, but she was so nice, welcoming, and helpful to everyone!! I also want to add that, although it’s not on the beach, it seemed to be near enough of everything we wanted to visit. Away from traffic, but also close enough to the places we wanted to go; beach, Walmart, Pier Park…. Check-out went well, sad we had to leave, but will definitely recommend and use this place again!!!

On Google maps this hotel is where Comfort inn and suites used to be but has been renovated and apparently bought by IHG and renamed Atwell Suites. We don’t normally stay at a hotel when we visit PCB but we wanted to add a night to our vacay so we chose this hotel. Check in was a breeze and our room was quite spacious, comfortable and clean. The bed was super cozy and we didn’t hear any outside or hallway noise even though our room was close to the parking lot exit. They have really upgraded a lot from what it used to be. The room darkening shades are great for blocking out city lights and all you have to do is push a button. The decor was modern and comfortable as well. Our room happened to have a spacious bathroom that could also accommodate wheelchair access.
The breakfast bar was a nice perk with ample selection although the”hot” choices could have been a bit more hot. Our stay was very pleasant and quite peaceful actually. We didn’t get to enjoy the gym or the pool but both areas are well kept and although they are a little smaller than some other area hotels, both can accommodate several people at a time.
There are fun little brain “teasers” in each room in the form of Morse code that look like just an interesting interior design artwork. I felt accomplished after decoding the one in our room.
We didn’t really have an opportunity to use the common area but I love the “homey” atmosphere and the comfy “work” booths.
Overall, we enjoyed everything about this hotel, the friendly staff, the location to shops, the newly redesigned rooms…however, there are still a few kinks they need to work out. We loved the spacious shower in our room, but there was no where to place a bar of soap or body wash. The 0 entry is also nice except that water goes over the threshold a bit and if you don’t have a mat it might potentially be slippery.
Even with the couple of things I mentioned above it was still a wonderful experience and I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit the area.
