I just met with Stacie, who does events, to discuss a roughly $25,000 package. She struggled with numbers and evaded questions throughout the tour. My sense is that The Colony expects customers who don't know the value of a dollar or don't care to. I suspect the private ownership of the hotel drives very poor corporate governance which explains this poor hire.

The Colony is one of the most charming and stylish places in Palm Beach. The iconic pink building is beautiful and full of character.
The location is excellent—right in the center of Palm Beach, just a short walk to the beach, Worth Avenue, and all the lovely courtyards and picturesque streets. Everything is within walking distance, and valet parking makes visiting easy.
The property is always spotless, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. There is also a nice café and restaurant on-site, making it a great place to relax even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
If you visit during the holidays, be sure to see their gorgeous pink Christmas tree—it perfectly matches the hotel’s signature style. I also love that the café adds a personalized birthday message right on top of your drink, which is such a thoughtful touch.
Even if you’re only stopping by for coffee or lunch, The Colony is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is elegant, unique, and unmistakably Palm Beach.
We stopped into Swifty’s at The Colony for lunch and grabbed seats at the bar, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our Palm Beach trip. From the moment we sat down, Bobby took incredible care of us. He was genuinely kind, funny, attentive without hovering, and had the perfect personality for the atmosphere. Great bartenders have a way of elevating an entire meal, and Bobby absolutely did that.
We started with the Swifty’s Crushed Avocado served with house chips, pico de gallo, and salsa, and it was the perfect way to kick things off. Fresh, flavorful, and one of those appetizers that’s impossible to stop eating.
For our entrées, we ordered the burger and the shrimp tacos. The burger was cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor, and the shrimp tacos were light, fresh, and packed with perfectly cooked shrimp and vibrant toppings. Everything tasted thoughtfully prepared rather than thrown together. As a bonus, they served both dishes with a garlic aioli that I could probably eat with just about anything—it was that good.
Now for the fries… I don’t say this lightly, but they may honestly be the best fries I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, well-seasoned, and somehow still amazing dipped in that garlic aioli. They completely stole the show.
The cocktail was equally memorable. It was colorful, creative, refreshing, and felt like it belonged at The Colony—playful and elegant without being overcomplicated. So many restaurants try too hard with specialty cocktails, but this one struck the perfect balance of fun and delicious.
Between the beautiful setting, outstanding food, and Bobby’s exceptional hospitality, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Swifty’s perfectly captures the relaxed yet polished Palm Beach vibe, and every dish we tried exceeded expectations. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’ll be asking to sit at Bobby’s bar again. Five stars!

Aly is hands down the best bartender at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach! From the moment you sit down, she makes you feel genuinely welcomed and goes above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and incredible knowledge of the menu and cocktails are unmatched. She strikes the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, making every visit feel special. If you’re lucky enough to have Aly taking care of you, you’re in for exceptional service. She is truly an asset to The Colony and one of the reasons I keep coming back!
Hotel is outdated and overrated. They had the carpets on the level being steam cleaned as it smelt like mold. I think this hotel should invest in a refurbishment. The pool is to small and was mercky from high use. The gym is off property so for the price it’s not nice. Its location is great to Wurth avenue but to be honest most of the good shops are now at a new mall which is a drive away. We had a fire alarm go off which was false. Overall a very average experience.
