I’m conflicted about this one. I read a LOT of reviews before choosing a hotel so I want to be open about the ups and downs. We were traveling for a cheer competition, not a Disney vacation- but we did do two park days. We typically stay at a different hotel in the Disney Springs area, but this time we needed adjoining rooms and the Holiday Inn could guarantee us adjoining rooms when our other hotel could not.
The hotel was clean and welcoming. The front desk staff were great. It’s a safe, clean place to rest your head. Disney Springs is super walkable- less than a mile. We were in the smaller, back wing of the building, not the newer tower. The pool was okay, nothing to write home about but it did the job. Our rooms were clean but a little dated; and a good size. We had two rooms- three adults slept in one and the four children slept in the other (thus the need for adjoining rooms). This is where some of my annoyances started. I paid the extra rate to have “free” breakfast but upon check in was informed that it’s only 2 per room. Children under 11 eat free, but unfortunately for us we had three teenagers and only one under 11, which left us an uneven number. The front desk staff made it seem like this wouldn’t be an issue, but when I got to breakfast the waiter was pretty rude about it and tried to make me pay for one of the teens. In the end I just used an extra voucher to satisfy him but this meant we were short vouchers the rest of the trip. If I have to enter the ages and number of people on the room when I purchased the room, why would breakfast not be included for all? Breakfast ended up being a huge waste of money for us- we ended up going to Walmart and buying breakfast foods.
Housekeeping was also hit or miss. Again, we had 7 people between 2 rooms and there were only 3 towels in each room. We had to ask for extra towels EVERY SINGLE DAY. 7 females need extra towels and wash cloths. This was frustrating and led to me having to go to the desk twice to pick them up myself because we needed them quickly and housekeeping was slow to bring them. Additionally, the rooms were to include two free bottles of water per night and these were only replaced twice over a 6 day stay and only in one room. We were also supposed to have a full clean done after day 4- this never happened. Our room was pretty gross after 6 days of pool and parks and teenagers. The trash was usually taken but we often had to put it in the hallway to get it out of our way.
My final annoyance with this location was the bus situation. Buses to the parks are a third party and only run from the hotel on the hour and back from parks on the 30. This led to us often having to literally sprint to the buses as to not miss one, since another wasn’t coming for an hour. The buses also have to be “booked” and we missed the 8 am booking for Magic Kingdom so we opted to Uber to save precious time in the parks. We only did two park days, but if I were staying for a full Disney trip this is a MAJOR inconvenience. I’d opt for a hotel with a better shuttle situation or stay on Disney property for the convenience of this.
Overall, for a quick trip or a trip that you’re only doing 1-2 park days- it’s fine. I would absolutely NOT recommend for a full Disney trip, however.

I have stayed at IHG properties all over the world. Only in the biggest and most congested cities is there a parking fee. And if there’s a fee, that is clearly stated on the website. This fee is not clearly stated and in fact, the daily price quote includes a note that states ”all fees included”
I arrived late at night and it was only then when I informed of a $26 parking fee. A $10 fee would also be unfair if not clearly stated beforehand, but $26 is outrageous!!. The only explanation I received was that “all of the other hotels do it “. There were plenty of parking spaces available. So I don’t understand the need for regulating access by pricing.
Also, I was given a room part of a larger suite, but the access door to the other room did not lock and guests in the other room happen to open the door and walk right into mine!! an innocent act, but pretty careless to have a door to an adjacent room with no lock.

I recently stayed here and overall it was just okay. There wasn’t really a “wow” factor, and the bathroom felt a bit small. The rooms were clean, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping service. It was also nice that they checked in via text during the stay.
The pool area and mini golf were great features, and the location is very convenient with plenty of nearby restaurants and things to do, not too far from malls and attractions. The service was friendly, but overall, it was just an average experience.

Les chambres sont parfaites, et le petit déjeuner correct pour le prix. Situé en zone artisanale, l'emplacement est néanmoins idéal pour faire les parcs Disney et Universal.
