  I stayed for a few days, after a long season of stress in my life, every person who works at the hotel helped me feel seen. They were friendly to ask how my day was going and to share how their work day was going. The people who do the work of house keeping would say good morning and all of I were staying with them longer. Tess would chat with me every morning had breakfast as she finishing hosting breakfast for all the hotel guest. Patricia at the front desk was welcoming and hospitable as I was checking in. My friend tried this hotel and that's why she booked this hotel for me, and I was able to see and feel the trust she was talked about stopping at this hotel.

  My room was clean and cool. No need to pay for parking or resort fees Has a small gym and pool.

  I'm terrified of catching bed bugs, and this was the only hotel in 32828 that didn't mention bedbugs in the reviews. We stayed 5 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. We upgraded to a suite with living area and I'm glad we did since it was 5 nights and they offered us a very affordable price on the upgrade. The room was spacious and updated, the staff is phenomenal, everyone is so friendly and constantly asks if there's anything you need. They were very accommodating. Tess, the breakfast attendant is so sweet and friendly, she truly takes pride in keeping the breakfast items stocked and clean. The breakfast was pretty decent for a hotel breakfast, I really enjoyed the cheese omelettes, biscuits and gravy, and bacon. The 24 hr access coffee machines that grind fresh beans for each cup was extremely good, just as good as coffee you would get at a coffee house. The outdoor pool is small but we mostly had it to ourselves, some of the patio furniture needs to be replaced. We have family in the area so we will likely stay here again in the future, but some simple things to improve the hotel would be a deep cleaning of the rooms. Sending a company in to scrub and seal the grout in the bathroom is much needed. The cleanliness of our room could have been better, but since we were staying 5 nights and I was just so happy there were no bed bugs ( or any bugs for that matter) I didn't complain. I wiped the room down with Lysol wipes, there was some urine at the back of the toilet, some hair around the base, and the entire floor was sticky when we walked so I cleaned it with a towel. I also asked housekeeping for the vacuum and vacuumed our room, the was a couple toenail clippings on the floor and dog hair in front of the dresser and on the sofa, the vacuums need an attachment to get hard to reach areas and baseboards which were the areas were I found these things. I probably should have complained, but it was mostly clean and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. We had a great stay and I would stay here again.
