  They showed us some really cool Disney & Pixar short films we hadn't even known about before, and talked about how, before the movies and amusement parks, Disney was known for its short films. The queue was short too, which was great.

  The Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival at Epcot may be the hidden gem in all of Disney World. We didn't know what to really expect, but figured it would be a nice stop on a hot day to rest. I'm so happy we decided to check this out because it was phenomenal. The queue for the "ride" is almost like a theater itself (without seats). There are videos running on monitors above that tell the story of Pixar (which was extremely interesting) while you wait for the doors to open. Once the doors open you enter a rather large theater (bigger than a Bugs Life at Animal Kingdom). The films are wonderful and not quite what you expect. Without spoiling it I will just say that you should make it a point to check this out. I felt like it was one of the best experiences in all of Disney and I hadn't even heard about it prior to our visit.
