  Horrible experience! I prepaid for the breakfast because they have a sit down restaurant. When we went down for our breakfast we were met with a sign for a continental type buffet breakfast. If I wanted a breakfast buffet I could have stayed at a cheaper hotel. (Edit* The reason the full breakfast was not available was they were slow. My guest experience should not be lowered because they’re slow.)The breakfast potatoes were cold and hard. I asked for two fried eggs instead of the scrambled eggs on the buffet. The woman appeared put out by my request. When the eggs arrived they had no taste and were over cooked. I couldn’t even eat anything. When I checked out I told the receptionist that I had prepaid for breakfast and the reason for my dissatisfaction, I said the “food sucked” to be exact and why. He did not care or even offer an apology, instead he even said I used “unfortunate” language for saying the word “sucked”. I didn’t swear at him or raise my voice. I told him I would like a credit for the money I paid for breakfast and was unable to eat any of it because of the quality of the food. He gave me word salad without any empathy or concern. I told him I would just call and speak to the manager later. He then informed me he was the manager. So I knew he had no intention of helping me. I started to walk off and turned around to ask his name, instead of responding to my request, he pointed to a sign on the wall and said it’s on the wall. I had a wonderful vacation until I met Marcello. Look somewhere else you will not be appreciated as a paying customer. When I called the corporate office to complain I received a little more empathy, but instead of a credit I was given points for a future stay worth about $20-$30 dollars not even close to compensation of the horrible and condescending way I was treated . Well that measly little credit will never get used. Because of Marcello I will NEVER stay at an IHG hotel again.

  As a traveling healthcare professional, I stay at different hotels every week, and the bar at the Marriott Downtown Orlando became a special place to unwind after a long day. Maria, Clara, and William are wonderful, welcoming, and fun. Their outstanding service truly made a difference in my stay! Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The dish I ordered had an unpleasant taste and did not seem fresh. This is not a reflection of the bar staff, who were fantastic, but rather a concern about the kitchen. Thank you, Maria, Clara, and William, for making guests feel welcome!

  I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant at Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown, thanks especially to Ashley and Oscar. They were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. They made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of us from start to finish. Ashley and Oscar’s warm personalities and excellent service really stood out and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Great customer service can make such a difference, and they definitely deserve recognition for going above and beyond. Thank you, Ashley and Oscar! I would happily come back again.

  We have had a very nice stay at the Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown. My wife and I came into town for a wedding. Crystal at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind in getting us registered as IHG members so we could enjoy an early check in and a late checkout, which was so helpful in accommodating our flight schedule. Carla and Maria Miami in the Bistro were very kind and helpful for a good dinner experience. Jairo was very kind in the bistro helping me order a meal to go for my wife and I for breakfast. And most of all, the general manager Marcello was an absolute life saver the day of the wedding for one of our very dear friends. We experienced a very frustrating time with Uber. We booked our ride almost an hour in advance of when we needed to arrive at the venue and drivers kept cancelling and rescheduling for 40 minutes until our ETA would have been too late. We were panicking in the lobby and Marcello was there and heard our situation and immediately volunteered to help us. He drove us himself to the venue and we were arrived on time to witness one of our dear friends marry the love of their lives. The staff here have delivered exceptional customer service and we will forever be grateful for their support and hospitality. We will certainly stay again next time we come to Orlando!

  Huge shoutout to Crystal! I arrived at the Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown after a red-eye with basically no sleep, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. She was able to get me checked in early, which honestly felt like such a gift after a long night of traveling. She also surprised me with a complimentary upgrade to one of the largest KING suites! I couldn’t be more grateful. As BEING SO TIRED, having someone be this thoughtful and welcoming made all the difference. Thank you, Crystal, for taking such great care of me and starting my stay on such a positive note. Truly excellent hospitality and customer service AT CROWNE plaza Orlando Downtown! Keep Crystal.
