The Orange City Holiday Inn Express & Suites is located just off I-4, very easy to get to
The front desk staff was really great, we arrived late and they were all ready for us, gave us cold water, got us checked in with no hassle, gave us warm cookies, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast buffet had ample supply of whatever was offered, with an automatic instant pancake maker, a coffee machine that instantly ground the beans then brewed your cup and was ready for the next cup in about a minute.
The rooms were good sized with lots of amenities to make them comfortable for a multi day stay (mini-fridge, microwave, iron and board, hair dryer, etc) large shower, very nice towels, plenty of seating.
Only a few drawbacks: the king mattress was a bit hard for my taste, the TV channels were hard to figure out.
We experienced some unusual situations and asked the front desk to assist, which they did all they could to help. First we needed a ride to the car rental place, the manager called an Uber on her account for us. As we were checking out we misplaced the car key. Again the desk staff were helpful--dispstching someone to our room to search, offering to call a locksmith if the key was locked inside the cat, etc. We found the key and let them know, but it was a big relief that they were there to help in any way they could.
Kudos to all the staff who were unfailingly courteous, friendly, and helpful. The world would be a better place if every business was run like this one!
