  We checked in Sunday before Labor Day after 9pm. The hotel clerk, a man who appeared to be of Indian Descent, ignored my wife and I. He spoke on the phone for 5 full minutes. He would not make eye contact with me as I stood at the front desk patiently waiting to be checked in. I finally interuptted his conversation and said, "How long should we wait before you acknowledge us?" He replied, "I'm sorry boss". He never welcomed us to the hotel. He gave us our room key and told us about the buffet breakfast. We arrived at our room and the floor was filthy. There was toilet paper in the toilet. We only stayed for 1 night. We checked out that morning. The front desk clerk appeared cold. She didnt smile or inquire about our stay. The breakfast was fair. Food was luke warm at 6:45 am. The hotel staff can benefit by customer service training and quality control for room cleanliness.

  I will make this very short IF YOU DESPISE COCKROACHES LIKE I DO, DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS MORNING , ONE RAN ACROSS TO THE PLATES ON THE BREAKFAST BAR. I FOUND A DEAD ONE UNDER MY SINK.IN THE BATHROOM. AND THE KILLER OF ALL KILLERS WAS, I LAID DOWN TO TAKE JUST A LITTLE BIT OF NAP THIS MORNING LOOK BEFORE I LEFT.\NAND ONE CALLED THE CROSS MY BODY , AND I KILLED IT IMMEDIATELY. THE FOLLOWING IS A PICTURE OF THE ONE I KILLED ON MY BED. AS SOON AS THE MANAGER CALLS ME SOONER THAN THIS AFTERNOON.I PREFER.\NHOPEFULLY THIS CAN GET RESOLVED.. THE RESPONSE WAS THE MANAGER.CAN'T CALL YOU LATER ON IN THE AFTERNOON WHEN SHE GETS FINISHED WORKING AT ANOTHER PROPERTY. I WOULD FIND THIS MATTER EXTREMELY URGENT AND I WOULD CALL THE CUSTOMER IMMEDIATELY.

  I walked through the doors today pushing my 5-month-old baby in her stroller. The silver-haired woman at the front desk, who has been rude to me every time I've interacted with her, immediately looked at my baby and asked, "What's in that baby's mouth?" I replied, "It's her binky. She's a baby—she can have it." She then responded, "She only has that binky because her parents like her quiet." Excuse me? First of all, her pediatrician recommended a pacifier from the time she was born. Not only does it comfort babies, but it can also help reduce the risk of SIDS. More importantly, it is absolutely not her place to make comments about someone else's parenting or how they care for their child. We live in a small town, and when you work in customer service, you're going to see the same people over and over again. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way. I had barely walked through the door and hadn't even spoken to anyone before she felt the need to criticize my parenting. That was unnecessary, inappropriate, and completely uncalled for.
