  Around 12:00 AM, we found numerous insects in room 218, including many on our child’s bed. We immediately took photos and videos, and my husband even brought two of the insects in a covered plastic cup to the front desk. We were moved to another room, but we spent hours dealing with our luggage and belongings until 3:00 AM. This incident ruined two nights of our family vacation. The next day, the manager told us the insects were “not bed bugs,” yet when we asked what they actually were, he admitted that he did not know because the hotel had not found any. So how exactly was he able to determine they were not bed bugs? The hotel refunded us $210 . But $210 is essentially the value of our three suitcases that may have to be discarded because of possible exposure. It does not compensate us for the stay we paid for, the two terrible nights, the lost sleep, the stress, or the hours we lost dealing with this situation. We paid for a hotel room, not a pest problem. The way management handled this was completely unacceptable.

  The lobby is nice, breakfast is good but the rooms are just okay. Need some renovating. The bed was so hard which I haven’t had at a Holiday Inn express before. The air conditioning in the room sounds like a train or big truck is in your room. So loud. The staff were friendly.

  When I arrived, my poolside balcony room that I was given wasnt even cleaned. I returned to the desk and got "upgraded" to a suite. No trash bags in the trash cans. Toilet cycles several times after flushing and no functioning exhaust fan. AC in bedroom sounds like a freight train and blows directly on the bed. But the worst was being jarred awake 3 times between midnight and 3am by a faulty fire alarm system. Welcome text upon checking in suggested replying to text with any issues. 4 messages sent without a reply. Im stuck here for one more night. Subpar establishment. Do better!

  Das Holiday Inn Express & Suites Naples Downtown – 5th Avenue war insgesamt eine gute Wahl für unseren Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und angenehm, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstück für ein Holiday Inn Express völlig in Ordnung. Auch die Lage ist praktisch, da man schnell in Richtung Downtown und zu vielen Restaurants kommt. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel mit fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, daher 4 Sterne.
