Where do I even begin… this was not a hotel—it felt like a roach motel.
My daughter, grandson, and I checked in on April 7, 2026. From the moment we arrived, there were red flags. The exterior was dirty, the windows were filthy, and there was a strong smell of bug spray—but unfortunately, I ignored my instincts.
The front desk attendant was kind and checked us in quickly. However, the moment we entered the room, we were met with a serious roach infestation. There were roaches everywhere. I immediately went back to the front desk to report the issue, explaining that we could not stay in those conditions.
Initially, I was told that I could not receive a refund and was only offered another room. Because we were in a bind, I agreed to try the second room—hoping it would be better. Unfortunately, it was just as bad, if not worse. There were roach skins in the bed, dead roaches behind the refrigerator, and more visible throughout the room. It was completely unsanitary and unacceptable.
What made it even more concerning is that the front desk staff had reportedly checked the room prior to giving us the key, which raises serious questions about the standards of this property.
After showing photo evidence, I was finally issued a refund. As we were leaving, other guests were also calling down to complain about the infestation, confirming that this was an ongoing issue—not an isolated incident.
Thankfully, we were able to find safe accommodations at LaQuinta, which completely turned our experience around.
I strongly advise: Do NOT book this hotel. The conditions are filthy, unsafe, and clearly not being properly managed.
