    Me and my family did a one-night stay before heading out on our cruise, and honestly the check-in experience almost ruined the entire stay. Being checked in by the Guest Services Supervisor Ashley left a horrible first impression. She had absolutely no personality, no smile, no hospitality, and acted like she did not want to be at work. My husband politely asked her for food recommendations and instead of being welcoming she just pointed at a paper and said, “It’s on there.” No effort at all. And what really threw me off was the fact her name tag said “Guest Services Supervisor.” Child please. A supervisor is supposed to lead by example and make guests feel welcomed, valued, and excited to stay at the property. Instead, she made us feel uncomfortable and like we were bothering her just by checking in. Hospitality may not be the right field for her because customer service clearly is not her strength. Honestly, with that attitude she’d probably be better suited working somewhere that doesn’t require guest interaction because we spent our hard earned money to feel welcomed, not dismissed. Now on the positive side, the bartender Shanay completely changed the vibe for us. She was amazing warm, friendly, attentive, and the drinks were on point! I’ve never been to a Staybridge with a bar before and that was honestly one of the highlights of the stay. The only thing I’d recommend is adding more quick food options besides pizza wings, nachos, empanadas, sliders, something fun and easy. Now that breakfast was really good and the kids loved it. I also appreciated the free laundry because I was able to wash a few things before we left for our cruise. The morning team was excellent as well Tiffany and Jazmin were both friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. Overall, I would recommend the hotel because there were definitely some great employees there, but management I need yall to seriously reevaluate Ashley because first impressions matter and I almost told her just cancel my reservation! But because I booked through Expedia and prepaid I really didn’t feel like being bothered with relocating my family!

    Very close to the Tri-Rail station next to the airport. A really good stay. Front desk staff were friendly. I had a ground floor room which was a suite including full sized fridge, hob, microwave and plenty of accessories including filter coffee maker. Supplies of coffee, sugar etc too. Two double beds. Bathroom was in good order and pleased to see the use of dispensers for shampoo etc. WiFi worked well and air conditioning unit wasn't too noisy. My only complaint was the decor and as in a shaded area, not too much natural light. No disturbance from the sound of aeroplanes taking off from the airport. Breakfast was particularly good with cooked items, fruit, selection of pastries and three types of coffee.

    Beware this hotel indicates they offer free shuttle service to MIA airport but then say it is temporarily unavailable and tell you to arrange your transportation at your own cost with no compensation. Reached out to customer service but they apologized only. I’m still out of pocket for my own transportation. Deceitful and poor customer service.

    We stayed less than 12 hours and our smartwatch was STOLEN in the reception area. The hotel allows unauthorized individuals to freely enter the property, making it EXTREMELY unsafe. We tracked the watch’s location, which led us just two blocks away to an area known for homeless activity—raising serious concerns about the hotel’s lack of security and control over who is allowed inside. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable. We strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

    I enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were cleaned, the free breakfast was good and always plenty. Jasmine who checked me in was very nice and gave me tips on where to visit in Miami. Janalise, the cook (or who helped with the buffet area) was very sweet and helped me with my meals. Mark, at checkout, was also very kind and made the whole process easy. I really appreciated the amenities and the staff who were helpful. I would stay again! Also, helps that this place is right next to the airport.
