I typically do not leave reviews for hotels, but we checked in afternoon of sept 4th and left on the 5th, we were blown away with the friendliness of ALL staff, breakfast was great, the bartender was very engaging and we were so surprised at how quiet the rooms are considering how loud it is outside with all the planes

This location absolutely sucks, there's no parking. This is in an industrial area. If you have a vehicle you have to either park on the street that's not monitored, no surveillance or pay $20 a day for valet service that takes for ever to park your car or bring it back. There's not enough employees working valet and the circle drive to pull your up to the hotel is small and just not big enough. The view was horrible, and only one working elevator for such a high priced "suite" hotel. The suite itself was nice however we had no towels in the room and when we asked for some they only have 2 wash clothes. Absolutely absurd. The breakfast was less than mid. I wouldn't ever return unless they made some major upgrades

I was in Miami for a class and booked with Staybridge. I didn’t know it was only valet. I called and let me tell you Tiffany at the front really helped walk me through it and literally went above and beyond on customer service! Seriously staybridge this lady needs a raise!! I will be staying here everytime I’m in town. The area was good as well which I was nervous about after all you hear about Miami. Thank you so so much and a huuuge thank you to Tiffany at the desk! You helped this small town tn girl actually get around Miami!

The room is quite spacious, featuring an L-shaped pull-out couch. A significant factor in my choice of this room was the kitchen, which is well-equipped with a full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and stovetop, which I consider a definite advantage. Additionally, complimentary washers and dryers are available for guests, though you would need to provide your own detergent and fabric softener (you can buy them at the registration desk). The location is also very convenient, being a short 6-7 minute ride from the airport. Regarding housekeeping, there is room for improvement, as it took a couple of days for towels to be picked up and fresh ones delivered. Furthermore, only one elevator is currently operational, which occasionally results in a wait. Despite these minor issues, I would certainly consider staying here again.

I'm going to start with the pros of staying here. It's close to the airport. Moving on. I admit that my family is a bit much to travel with. There were 6 of us (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 teenage boys) and we'd just gotten off a cruise, with quite a bit of luggage. It was an early morning when we showed up, around 10AM. We had an early flight booked the next morning, so we were staying until about 4AM and then catching our flight. We didn't really need much, just a place to crash for 16 hours. We were told that check in was at 4PM, and that they would call us if it became available early. But they wouldn't store our luggage because we had too much, and we needed to wait for a cart. About 90 minutes later, a cart became available, and they stored our luggage in an unused conference room they could lock. I still don't understand why we needed the cart, as our luggage has wheels and certainly could have been put in there at the start. We decided to leave for a nearby mall to kill time and find food while we waited for the room. At 2:30PM my wife called to get an update, and was told they had attempted to call twice at 2:35PM to let us know the room was ready. My wife had no missed calls, but being that we aren't time travelers like the staff here we decided to wait 5 minutes to see if we got them. Spoiler: We did not. We made our way back, and found that of the two elevators only one was functional, and the other... was somewhat functional. The lobby button didn't work about half the time, the light was burned out, but it did occasionally make a beep. We made it to our room on the 6th floor, through a maze of musty hallways with carpets worn thin from years of wheels, which was supposed to have a king bed, two queens, and a pull out couch. We got what appeared to be a queen, two doubles, and a couch that smelled like vomit... and other things. The floor was filthy. The backboard of the bed was filthy. It seemed like years of caked in dirt everywhere that no one really cared about. We could see where something was sprayed onto the backboard but not wiped away, and could only hope it was cleaner. The air conditioning also didn't work. We called for service, and their maintenance person came up, changed the filter that was so old it was completely blocking airflow, then left. He did not speak English, we did not speak Spanish, so there was no real information exchanged here (not holding this against him, he seemed to be trying his best with very little to work with). We ordered pizza, and between the time he left and the time it arrived an hour later the temperature in the room increased 4 degrees. We called again, this time we used a translator app where he told us the unit had no Freon. Because that's something that just happens out of the blue. At this point it's closing in on 8PM, and we have to be up at 3AM, so we request fans in the room. We were brought 2 huge drying fans you would see where a room gets flooded. At this point my mom and wife both lost their temper on the front desk staff, and we were given three different rooms to move to. We told them we'd get the keys to the other rooms and move from this room on the 6th floor to the others. Two were on the 5th, one on the fourth. When we came to get the keys, they deactivated the original keys so we had to leave someone in the room to open it and make multiple trips to move our luggage down the stairs (just wasn't trusting the elevator at this point... we might still be there as slow as it was). The other rooms were passable, but none of us got nearly any sleep by this point. We had a bad week. On the cruise my wife had TWO anaphylactic allergic reactions requiring epi-pen use, our credit card information was stolen, and I spent 2 days basically in a medically-induced coma while passing a kidney stone... and staying here was still one of the lowest points of our trip.
