Very disappointing experience. I checked out, returned my keys, and specifically did not want to pay for another night. I was trying to negotiate a monthly rate and was told by hotel staff to simply wait in the room while the Director of Sales was in a meeting. I stayed only because I was instructed to wait for her. I was then charged for another night, despite never requesting or agreeing to extend my stay. When I disputed the charge, Holiday Inn support told me the hotel had made its decision and that I needed to negotiate directly with management. The issue is simple: I had already checked out and returned the keys. I did not authorize another night. If I had been told that waiting in the room would result in another charge, I would have left and waited elsewhere. Poor communication and an extremely frustrating way to handle a customer dispute.

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Miami International Airport on 36th Street. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, and the location made it very convenient for our travel plans. We would definitely consider staying here again! Susy & Javier were great to me and my family!

Extremely disappointing experience. The biggest issue was being hit with an unexpected $250 smoking-related charge even though I smoked outside, not inside the room. When I questioned the charge, management refused to resolve the situation or provide a reasonable explanation. The way this was handled was unacceptable and left a terrible impression. I would not recommend staying here—be very careful about unexpected charges.

After a long 10-hour flight delay, we booked this hotel because we had no flight available to our next destination and needed somewhere to stay for the night. The front desk staff was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately, the available rooms were not clean, so we were unable to stay. After already paying for an Uber to get to the hotel, we then had to find another hotel and pay for another Uber to get there. It was a very inconvenient experience, especially after an already long and stressful day of travelling. While the staff was helpful, I was disappointed that the rooms were not ready to accommodate guests. Additionally, the website was displaying available the rooms even after we left.

NEVER AGAIN! Listen, I love when I say love love love love Holiday Inn expresses. I spoke so highly of Holiday Inn express to my cousin they decided to get a room with us as well so when I booked two rooms. When I tell you that our TVs did not work, The shower was leaking and the bathroom room was dirty. Hair on shower walls. Photos attached. They changed our room several times and those TVs still did not work. They sent Maintenance To the room to resolve the issue. Needless to say, he didn’t know what he was doing and did not speak any English. Ultimately, again, they changed our rooms. The Front Desk didn’t change our rooms in the system so at 12:30 in the morning, someone came into our room. Because the Front Desk booked somebody into that room, not knowing that the previous shift had moved our room. My mom was freaking out. It took forever to calm her nerves down. The next morning, when speaking to the Front Desk personnel about the issue, they were very nonchalant and saying we needed to contact Priceline. Diego was Not customer service Oriented. I spoke with the On Call weekend manager Marco. He understood everything and apologize over and over. He took down our information. Marco was trying to tend to our issues. The Front desk person Santiago kept interrupting him and apologizing to us even after he told him I have it taken care of he continuously rudely tried over talking him. We contacted Priceline as we were informed that we will receive a full refund for both rooms. Needless to say it’s been a week now. I have not received a refund yet. I was told by Priceline that the hotel said they needed more time to research the issue. During our say, I inform Marco that we had another reservation for a week later, which is today, August 9th. He said that it would be no problem for us to do an early check-in. When I called the hotel to let them know that we will be doing an early check-in. I spoke with Diego. He was very rude and said it would be $70 to check in early. I asked is there any management on staff that I can speak with? He rudely asked is there anything else I can help you with? Obviously, at this point, we’re stuck with this room. This by far has been the worst experience with holiday inn express that I’ve ever had and I’ve been staying at a holiday in express is over the past two years everywhere I go. In New York in Georgia and Florida I always book with Holiday Inn express. From all the issues that we had from the room changes and the service from the people, I will never come to this hotel. There are several other others in the area that I wish I would’ve booked with. At this point, I’m not sure if I’m gonna get my money back for the Previous reservation when I was told by management that I would get a full refund for both of my rooms. I was willing to try to overlook the issues because I knew that it was a brand new hotel and I don’t think they were open until at least a month yet. However, after the service received by some of staff definitely changed my point of view. Needless to say my bragging about this hotel chain to my family member to be embarrassed by the rooms and the service received. I doubt she would ever want to book with Holiday Inn express either. 😭😢🤦🏾‍♀️. Now if the promise is fulfilled of my full refund I will follow up my review to let you know.
