- DSDion Saunders1 day ago5.0First of all, let me say that I booked this reservation at the extremely last minute (literally while still on my flight to Miami) and they exceeded any expectation I thought I had to begin with. Normally, when I see lower rates for hotel rooms, I don't expect an above average level of accommodation... but from the second I stepped in, the staff at Arlo took the best care of me. Check-in process was seamless, and my agent upgraded my room complimentarily to a room with a balcony. Now as far as the room, it is very minimal in storage spaces and decor; however; since I am only staying for the weekend; it does not bother me much. When I say the staff went above and beyond during my stay, they truly did treat me like a very welcomed guest. This level of customer service deserves a review like this. This property has stunning art plastered all throughout the different common areas and they have two clubs! (P.S... if peace and quiet is a non-negotiable for you, this may not be the ideal lodging for you) However, for someone like myself, being within walking distance to all sorts of vibrant nightlife, restaurants, and other parts of the city, I found this element to be very beneficial to get to enjoy my stay. The property has a rooftop pool and cabanas, and they host Day Partys on Sundays, which I loved! (Don't skip the Afrobeats Party @ Higher Ground) I did not get an opportunity to try any of the food, but they have a restaurant and bar located on the first floor open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will certainly be staying here again just merely from my experience this weekend; it's rare you get this level of hospitality at this price point but it's true and I encourage anyone considering staying here to give them a chance. Disclaimer, rooms are kind of small... ideal for couples or single travelers and maybe wouldnt stay here if I had small children! Otherwise, everything else is a Go!

I missed a flight and needed a place to stay for the night and after sharing my experience with Andres who checked me in, he upgraded my room for free and gave me a free breakfast voucher. I spent some time at the pool bar and Pedro took the best care of me. I really appreciate the team turning my entire day around! I was genuinely impressed by the food. Happy hour, beautiful and fun decorations, clean and comfortable. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Arlo did not disappoint! The location was perfect for exploring Wynwood and some great restaurants in the design district. Robinson was wonderful and helped us make some solid choices! The room was clean and worked well for our needs. It was a more “lively” hotel than we typically select with a kiddo, but they made us feel Comfortable and did stick to the 11pm quiet time. The pool had a rooftop Party which would have been a blast 25 yrs ago, but again, they made us feel Comfortable still with our kiddo. We explored the last day as our flight was late and Vanda at the front desk, made it super easy to keep our baggage and help us make the day comfortable! I would absolutely stay here again for this area! Great price for room type we got.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, up to two (2) dogs or cats per room, each under 75lbs, may stay with their humans for the duration of their stay. There will be a fee of $20 pre-tax per pet, per night charged in addition to the standard room rate. All animals must be registered with the front desk upon arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot at this time permit animals other than dogs or cats in any capacity.
Please note, all pets must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets may not be left alone in the hotel room, for the safety of the pet, our guests, and our employees.
Can I store packages?
The hotel will receive guests’ packages starting three (3) days prior to arrival. The first five (5) packages received are complementary if under 50 lbs. The following charges will apply for additional packages or packages received more than three (3) days prior to arrival.
Packages weighing 1lb – 49 lbs. will be charged at $10.00 each package
Packages weighing 50lbs. – 99 lbs. will be charged at $25.00 each package
Packages weighing over 100lbs. will be charged at $75.00 each package
Up to (20) packages are allowed before a rental fee storage area is needed.
We deliver packages daily to our guests between 5pm–6pm. For immediate package assistance, please contact the front desk or concierge and we can arrange to have the packages delivered immediately.
Should you need packages to be stored past your check-out date, a $20/day storage fee will apply. The hotel is not liable for lost or misplaced packages.
Deposit Policy
The hotel will authorize unpaid room, tax, urban fees as well as a daily $150 security deposit at the time of check-in. Your final bill will be applied against the authorization and any remaining authorization overage will be released upon check-out. Depending on bank processing times, the release of funds in your account could take up to 30 days. Use of debit cards is discouraged.
