- DBDarrell Brown3 days ago2.0First I would like to recognize Kayla, the receptionist that assisted me with my tour of Miami. She was the most pleasant part of my stay at the Holiday Inn Miami International Airport. The rest of the staff was not so pleasant. As for the hotel, it is and old building. I don't mind that because I have a lot of old things, but what ever I have, I keep it clean. This hotel is not so clean.

The room smelled awful, all the bed linens and pillows were very worn, $20 charge to park,hole in bathroom wall, seen the Biggest cockroach i have ever seen( and I'm from Florida), restaurant and bar service were awful, food was hardly edible, the only good thing i can say is they offer transportation to cruise port for 15$ per person. I use IHG for a large portion of my booking, after this experience that will no longer happen.

But I must say that Elizabeth from the front desk truly makes the experience a happy one. She makes you feel like you are at home with family at this hotel. She truly is s gem and Asset to your organization. Always helpful, pleasant, and remembers details.

When we got in at nearly 2am, Mery kept the cafe open to accommodate our large group. For breakfast Enyel made a great Americano to get me off and going for the day. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff in general was friendly and helped get us settled. The airport shuttle was timely and a huge help.
