Our stay at the Boulan Hotel Miami Beach was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everything was perfect — the room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is ideal, close to the beach and everything in Miami Beach while still feeling calm and relaxing.
What really made the experience special was the staff. Every single person was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. Their professionalism and warmth made a huge difference and honestly turned a great stay into an unforgettable one.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Boulan South Beach! From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I wasn’t feeling well and was a little lightheaded when I arrived, and Kay along with another staff member were so kind and accommodating — bringing me water and oranges, checking in on me, and making sure I was okay. That level of hospitality truly meant a lot to me.
The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming every single time I walked in or out of the hotel. The room was absolutely beautiful, the view was phenomenal, and the overall atmosphere was luxury, relaxing, and unforgettable.
Also, a special shoutout to Orange Blossom, which is connected to the hotel — the staff there was just as amazing, warm, and friendly.
This was truly a 10/10 experience, and whenever I come back to Miami, I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Just came back from Boulan yesterday it was okay just miss having a microwave in the Penthouse Suite me and my husband make our own way what we expected we did ourselves however to sleep and explore the place is very well located now I been hearing about the refund issues and I hope it doesn’t happen to me because what they don’t know is my husband is a lawyer ( consumer protection) we did not use a single amenity and I clearly asked housekeeper to stay out of my room for our 3 day stay we got one set of new towels and someone came in and did my bed after asking not too we removed the drinks and did not touch the snacks so I’m curious as to what my resort fee or whatever is nor did we use the pool. So I hope that Boulan has integrity and does the right thing and oh I highly recommend taking before and after pictures like we did so we can have solid proof . Other than that no they really don’t answer the phone a lot lol but if need be I will catch a flight if there’s any issues that require a face to face.
I’m taking the time to write this review because I wouldn’t want someone else with simple expectations like mine to have the same experience.
I spent a considerable amount of money for a 7-day stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we were given a room with multiple defects and issues that were never resolved, despite making several requests at the front desk. The list is long, but here are a few highlights:
The convection oven/microwave did not work at all. We made several face-to-face requests, and when a “technician” finally arrived, he left after two minutes saying he would return with another technician. That was the last time we saw him.
The dresser in the bedroom was, frankly, in terrible condition. The drawers were extremely difficult to open and close. Even the Salvation Army might have rejected it. The sliding closet door was also problematic—stiff, sticking, and difficult to operate.
There was a constant foul odor coming from the toilet, as if the septic system were directly beneath it. The flushing mechanism was very weak and required two flushes every time.
The air conditioning unit was the noisiest we’ve ever experienced. Each time it shut off, it sounded like a truck braking loudly. These noises disrupted our sleep on multiple nights.
Both TVs in the room were outdated and not smart-enabled, so we couldn’t access platforms like YouTube or Netflix.
Valet parking is essentially mandatory unless you’re willing to risk having your car towed. It costs $45 per day plus tax.
There was no complimentary coffee in the room. The hotel charges for nearly everything—we were even billed $1.80 for a bag of pretzels we didn’t consume, likely taken during cleaning. They only offer two complimentary cups of coffee total, which we didn’t bother with.
Room cleaning service was extremely slow.
The gym did not match the photos advertised. Some machines were out of order for our entire stay.
To be fair, the front desk staff were very nice and courteous, and that should be acknowledged. However, overall, this hotel was a major disappointment. I regret not doing more research before booking.

Absolutely unforgettable stay at Boulan South Beach!
From the moment we walked in, we were hit with the most incredible scent throughout the hotel—it was so amazing we had to ask the front desk about it. They explained it comes from their signature scent diffusers, and honestly… it set the tone for the entire experience.
The room was beyond impressive—spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. We had a 1.5 bath suite with a huge soaking tub, a large walk-in shower, washer and dryer, and a full kitchen that truly had everything: full-size refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, espresso machine, and even a wine fridge. The living space was generous and comfortable, and the large balcony made it even better for relaxing and enjoying the Miami vibe.
The amenities were just as outstanding. The pool area was beautiful with breathtaking views, the gym was fully equipped, clean, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel felt both luxurious and welcoming. The Orange Blossom restaurant bar downstairs was also a highlight—great drinks and a really nice vibe.
But what truly made this stay exceptional was the service, especially from Kay at the front desk. Whether she is the manager or not, she absolutely operates like one. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, she was attentive, kind, and incredibly accommodating. She helped us with an early check-in, surprised us with a bottle of wine in celebration of our upcoming marriage, and even took care of storing our luggage after checkout. When it was time to leave, she personally assisted us and sent us off so warmly—it genuinely felt like family.
That level of care made our stay feel like home.
We will absolutely be returning—and we truly hope to see Kay again. Boulan South Beach, you’ve earned loyal guests!
