- HRHeather Ehle Ray2 days ago3.0***. Response. You have ONE working jet ski available. We asked to reserve two when we checked in. I am a RN, Your Mahi is bad. Your oil is old. And we were given the wrong room at check in. I am tying to leave a decent review. Last name RAY. Checked in Oct 11th. Stunning resort and we loved the 3 bedroom Bay view!!! Great service and welcoming to my service dog. Unfortunately two in our family ended up sick after eating the blackened tacos and the coconut shrimp were burnt and tasted of oil that needed changed. And.... only ONE working jet ski. We did end up with Nautica watersports behind Porkys and they were amazing and professional.
- JFJohn Foster5 days ago4.0This resort is quite nice. We were guests of another party and we rented a two bedroom beachfront casita for two nights. The place is designed quite nicely, with two bedrooms, two very tight bathrooms, a kitchen and infoor seating area and a nice backporch about 100' from the sandy beach. The grounds have a sand beach, tiki bar, numerous beach games, a putting green, two pools and a expensive restaurant. We had a couple issues. We were in Flamingo #1 and it was at the end of the off season, so the place was still almost empty. Our unit is just a few feet from the turtle rescue where they do megaphone presentations from 8am to about 5pm, even with all the doors and windows shut tight, it sounded like the TV was on loud... We learned all about turtles and then some. Second, out the front door was an awful smell, that we think was raw sewage created by turtle poo that was occasionally present throughout the day. In such an empty resort, we wonder why people would be put in this unit at all. When we checked out, the staff didn't seem to have a care whatsoever about it. We did get one Puna Colada from the tiki var which was very light on the booze, yet still heavy on the wallet and for some reason they closed at 8pm. Odd.
- CPChasta PinsonOct 6, 20263.0We stayed in a beachfront villa, and the beach is absolutely amazing, especially for the Florida Keys! The villa was very clean. Nothing overly fancy, but we really enjoyed having a full kitchen, coffee provided, and a full-size refrigerator with ice and water. The location and beach were definitely the highlights of our stay. Now for the cons. The prices at the Tiki Bar are outrageous. We are on vacation and fully expect to splurge, and we don’t mind paying more for good drinks and convenience, but $46 for two drinks and $35 for six beers is excessive. Breakfast was the same way, with a breakfast burrito around $22 and a fruit plate around $16. At some point, it starts to feel less like resort pricing and more like you’re being taken advantage of because there aren’t many other options on the property. Our other big disappointment was how early everything shuts down. The pools close at dusk, which in October is around 7 PM. For the price you’re paying to stay here, I really think guests should be able to enjoy the pools and resort facilities until at least 9 PM. You’re on vacation! We understand October is the off-season, but once dusk hits, there is basically nothing to do within the resort. Overall, we loved the beachfront location and enjoyed our villa, but for a resort in this price range, we expected more reasonable food and drink prices and more to enjoy on the property in the evenings. A later pool closing time and some evening options would make a huge difference.

How can I contact the resort via email?

When are your check-in/check-out times?
Check-in time begins at 4pm; guests will be checked in as rooms become available. Guests who anticipate a late arrival (after 11pm) should contact the Resort in advance to advise of their estimated arrival time. Check out time is before 11am. Early departures will incur an additional fee of one night’s room and tax charged to the card on file.
What is the minimum age to reserve a room?
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to reserve a room, confirmed by photo ID at check-in. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a guest aged 21 years or older during the full course of their stay. Parties unaccompanied by an adult over 21 years may be asked to leave the resort at any time.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are not permitted at Tranquility Bay Resort, with the exception of service animals.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to make our policies as clear and straightforward as possible. All cancellation timeframes are based on arrival date and 4:00 p.m. EST.
Do you charge a resort fee?
Yes, our Resort Fee is $55 per night (excluding 12.5% applicable taxes). The resort fee includes complimentary use of bikes outside the resort, access to our fitness center, various weekly activities, and environmental interests around the resort. Do you charge a destination fee?
Our Destination Fee (1.0%) is collected to help support Tranquility Bay’s programming, activities, events and sustainability efforts.
Is there a charge for additional guest room occupants?
Yes. Rooms are confirmed for the number of adults and children selected at the time of booking. If you are traveling with more than two adults, an extra adult fee of $20 per night plus tax will be applied.
What is the resort's smoking policy?
All guest rooms and beach houses are 100% non-smoking. There are no smoking rooms available. There is no smoking on property.
Do you have a fitness center on property?
Our fitness center is open 24 hours for resort guests with an array of equipment to choose from, including a brand new Peloton Bike! Experience on demand and immersive live Peloton workouts that will keep your blood pumping and energy up while on your beach getaway.
And don’t forget about our new Sunday yoga by the beach! Set against the backdrop of swaying palms and the sparkling waters of the Keys, this invigorating session offers a serene escape. Do you offer breakfast on property?
While our dining outlets are only open for lunch and dinner, we do offer guests pastries, seasonal tropical fruit, and coffee in the morning for purchase inside the lobby. We also have breakfast boxes available for purchase. Scan the dining QR code found inside your accommodations for more information, or stop by the front desk for an order form.
Where can I park on property?
Guests of the resort can park up to one vehicle per villa or guest room on property for no additional charge.
What is your policy regarding weapons and firearms on property?
For the safety and security of all guests and staff, firearms and weapons of any kind are not permitted anywhere on our property, including guest rooms, common areas, parking facilities, and all outdoor spaces. This policy applies to all guests, visitors, and third parties, regardless of permit status.
Will I be reimbursed if it rains during my stay?
If you add the Weather Guarantee at booking, you’ll receive a daily reimbursement when 1+ hours of qualifying rain (1.5 mm/hour or more) occur between 8 AM and 8 PM during your stay. Sensible Weather monitors the forecast, alerts you if weather triggers coverage, and sends your reimbursement automatically.
