- DDDanielleAug 15, 20264.0UPDATE: After posting my original review and my husband reaching out to the resort again, Tranquility Bay responded immediately and fully resolved the issue. The duplicate charge of $1,703 was refunded, and the resort also provided an additional refund for the inconvenience. While the initial lack of communication was frustrating, we really appreciate how the resort ultimately handled the situation. They acknowledged the problem, corrected it promptly, and went above and beyond to make things right. Aside from the checkout issue, we genuinely enjoyed our stay at Tranquility Bay. It's a great resort for families, and our children had a wonderful time. The property and setting are beautiful, and one of the highlights for us was dining at the restaurant right on the water. The atmosphere was lovely, our servers were fantastic, and the food was delicious. Thank you again to the GM for making things right.

Lo único que no me gustó es que son escaleras para entrar a la habitación, si vienes en silla de ruedas o con coche de niño como yo pasarás un poco de trabajo para subir ,pero por lo demás todo bien . Gabriel me atendió súper bien . Sin duda volveré

We weee greeted by the friendliest and most helpful young man, Gabriel, at the fronts desk. He was very knowledgeable about the resort. He told us all about the amenities and time frames for each. He was also very kind and made sure we know to call the front desk if we need anything at all. The rooms were so CLEAN!! We had a three bedroom that overlooked the water and it was so romantic. We are going back this weekend for what I’m sure will be just as memorable as last time. Thank you Gabriel for your kindness and professionalism. Thank you Tranquility Bay for keeping the rooms and the grounds so beautiful ❤️

How can I contact the resort via email?

When are your check-in/check-out times?
Check-in time begins at 4pm; guests will be checked in as rooms become available. Guests who anticipate a late arrival (after 11pm) should contact the Resort in advance to advise of their estimated arrival time. Check out time is before 11am. Early departures will incur an additional fee of one night’s room and tax charged to the card on file.
What is the minimum age to reserve a room?
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to reserve a room, confirmed by photo ID at check-in. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a guest aged 21 years or older during the full course of their stay. Parties unaccompanied by an adult over 21 years may be asked to leave the resort at any time.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are not permitted at Tranquility Bay Resort, with the exception of service animals.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to make our policies as clear and straightforward as possible. All cancellation timeframes are based on arrival date and 4:00 p.m. EST.
Do you charge a resort fee?
Yes, our Resort Fee is $55 per night (excluding 12.5% applicable taxes). The resort fee includes complimentary use of bikes outside the resort, access to our fitness center, various weekly activities, and environmental interests around the resort. Do you charge a destination fee?
Our Destination Fee (1.0%) is collected to help support Tranquility Bay’s programming, activities, events and sustainability efforts.
Is there a charge for additional guest room occupants?
Yes. Rooms are confirmed for the number of adults and children selected at the time of booking. If you are traveling with more than two adults, an extra adult fee of $20 per night plus tax will be applied.
What is the resort's smoking policy?
All guest rooms and beach houses are 100% non-smoking. There are no smoking rooms available. There is no smoking on property.
Do you have a fitness center on property?
Our fitness center is open 24 hours for resort guests with an array of equipment to choose from, including a brand new Peloton Bike! Experience on demand and immersive live Peloton workouts that will keep your blood pumping and energy up while on your beach getaway.
And don’t forget about our new Sunday yoga by the beach! Set against the backdrop of swaying palms and the sparkling waters of the Keys, this invigorating session offers a serene escape. Do you offer breakfast on property?
While our dining outlets are only open for lunch and dinner, we do offer guests pastries, seasonal tropical fruit, and coffee in the morning for purchase inside the lobby. We also have breakfast boxes available for purchase. Scan the dining QR code found inside your accommodations for more information, or stop by the front desk for an order form.
Where can I park on property?
Guests of the resort can park up to one vehicle per villa or guest room on property for no additional charge.
What is your policy regarding weapons and firearms on property?
For the safety and security of all guests and staff, firearms and weapons of any kind are not permitted anywhere on our property, including guest rooms, common areas, parking facilities, and all outdoor spaces. This policy applies to all guests, visitors, and third parties, regardless of permit status.
Will I be reimbursed if it rains during my stay?
If you add the Weather Guarantee at booking, you’ll receive a daily reimbursement when 1+ hours of qualifying rain (1.5 mm/hour or more) occur between 8 AM and 8 PM during your stay. Sensible Weather monitors the forecast, alerts you if weather triggers coverage, and sends your reimbursement automatically.
