    We love this resort and have become a returning guest, making years of memories - so much to offer for families right on site and it’s in a prime location in Marathon. You won’t be disappointed!

    It’s my family’s favorite spot in the Keys—you truly go there to relax. I give a 10/10 to absolutely everything, from the cleanliness throughout the property to the pool, which has spectacular water. The only thing I’d improve is the music; there wasn't any by the pool during this visit, and the tiki bar was dimly lit compared to other times when it’s livelier. Even so, we’ll definitely be back—we love this place.

    Terrible servicio al cliente , Soy un customer frequente , voy todos los años con mi familia siempre reservo las habitaciones frente à la playa y siempre hago el request de la misma habitacion que es la que nos gusta y pago para ir a donde me gusta no donde me quieren ellos poner . La ultima vez reserve con 1 mes de antelacion y llame para confirmar la habitacion cuando reserve y el dia antes y pero el dia del viaje me dicen que no la tienen disponible . Me parece una falta de respeto que para vender prometan algo y después à la hora de llegar te Dan otra habitacion . Es mi ultimo viaje !!! Terrible servicio al cliente y mala attitude del front desk .

    We have been coming to Tranquility Bay Resort for years and it has always been our favorite place, but unfortunately, this is the first time we did not feel comfortable. The standard of quality has noticeably dropped.To begin with, the mattress on the queen bed is extremely uncomfortable and needs to be replaced urgently; it has a huge dip in the center and sinks completely in the middle, which prevented us from getting any proper rest.To make matters worse, guest service failed us unacceptably. We reported issues with the room phone not working, and despite our notification, nobody ever came to fix it or replace it during our entire stay. It is a shame that a resort of this caliber ignores reports from returning guests and neglects basic elements like room maintenance and bed comfort.

    We recently stayed at Tranquility Bay Resort and had mixed feelings about our experience. The resort grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and exactly what you would expect from a Florida Keys getaway. The pool area and small beach were very nice, and our family enjoyed spending time outdoors. Unfortunately, the interior of the villa was extremely disappointing, especially considering the nightly rate. The accommodations are in desperate need of updating. The bathrooms are very outdated and appeared dirty simply because of their age and condition. I honestly dreaded using them. The ceiling fans were old and noisy, the walls and doors showed significant wear and tear, and the carpet on the stairs looked worn and unclean to the point that I didn't want my children walking on it barefoot. Another disappointment was the living room TV. It was not a smart TV (come on guys it’s 2026), so we couldn't access Netflix, Disney+, or other streaming services. The channel selection was also very limited, which was frustrating when traveling with kids. What was most disappointing, however, was the customer service. Around 11:00 PM, we realized we needed an extra blanket for the children and walked to the front desk to request one. Although a staff member was present, I was told that they were "closed" and that she could not help me. I understand that certain services may have operating hours, but this was a simple request for a blanket, not a special accommodation or meal service. The employee was already there, and it would have taken very little effort to retrieve one. I've stayed at many hotels and resorts over the years, and most would find a way to assist a guest in that situation. The lack of willingness to help left a very poor impression and felt inconsistent with the level of service expected at a resort charging these rates. Before our stay, I read several reviews expressing similar concerns and admittedly assumed some may have been overly critical. After experiencing the resort for myself, I now understand where those reviews were coming from. The concerns regarding the condition of the villas and aspects of the guest experience are valid and appear to be recurring themes. The contrast between the beautiful exterior and the condition of the villa interior was surprising. The resort has so much potential, but the rooms urgently need renovations and modernization. Had the interior matched the quality of the grounds and the customer service been more accommodating, this would have been a completely different experience. Overall, we enjoyed the outdoor amenities, but for the price charged, the condition of the villas and the level of service fell far below our expectations. Unless significant updates are made to the accommodations and guest experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
