Very friendly and welcoming staff at reception. A special thank-you to the multilingual lady who also spoke Kazakh and Russian — she helped make a beautiful gesture happen for our birthday celebration, which we really appreciated. We also had a small issue with our room during the stay, and the front desk addressed it right away.
The property has beautiful outdoor spaces along the water that make it especially relaxing. My favorites were the large deck over the water, beautifully lit with blue lights at night, where we enjoyed watching the fish, and a small, tucked-away pier that felt especially peaceful at night.
Our room was spacious, with tasteful, non-generic decor, and we absolutely loved the patio with its sofa and chairs.
There were just a few things missing for us. We loved our stay so much that we didn’t want to take away a star from rating, but they’re still worth mentioning:
1. For anyone like us who loves swimming in natural bodies of water, the hotel’s beach is unfortunately not very swimmable. The water is extremely shallow, water is somewhat murky, the bottom is quite muddy and your feet can get stuck. We also spotted a few small nurse sharks.
2. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub.
3. There are very few trash cans around the outdoor areas, which can be inconvenient when walking around or spending time outside.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. The beautiful waterfront setting, relaxing outdoor spaces, comfortable room, and especially the warm and helpful staff made it a very memorable experience

Before I get started this hotel was amazing the staff and the views were incredible! The reason for the three star review however was due to having to call the front desk multiple times because outside our room near the outdoor chess board there was kids screaming, running around and hitting each other with the plastic chess pieces at 12:30 at night keeping the entire side of the hotel we were on awake with all the noise. I had to call the desk twice and it took almost an hour for them to finally find their parents and quiet them down, it’s not the hotels fault however for misbehaving children that falls to their parents, if your looking for a more quiet adult centric experience I would look elsewhere but if you have kids this is a great place to stay as they seem to be more family oriented.

Very disappointing experience, especially for a hotel that advertises itself as “pet friendly.”
The hotel charges $100 PER NIGHT for a dog, yet dogs are not allowed in the common areas and also cannot be left alone in the room. So where exactly is your dog supposed to be? Charging such a significant nightly pet fee while having these restrictions is extremely misleading. This is definitely not what I would consider a truly pet-friendly hotel.
Unfortunately, the poor experience goes beyond the pet policy. The rooms are in need of maintenance and attention to detail, and even something as basic as bottled water was not available in the room or fridge.
We were also celebrating a birthday and brought a bottle of champagne. We simply asked for champagne glasses, and the hotel was only able to provide three glasses. For a hotel charging these rates, it was surprising that such a basic request could not be accommodated.
Overall, the service and attention to guests were extremely poor in almost every aspect of our stay. Between the misleading “pet-friendly” policy, the $100 nightly pet charge, the condition of the rooms, lack of basic amenities, and poor service, the experience did not come close to meeting expectations.
If you are traveling with a dog, I would absolutely recommend looking elsewhere. There are genuinely pet-friendly hotels that actually make their guests and their pets feel welcome.
On top of that my sister in law cut her hand accidentally at the beach,, and they didnt even have a proper first aid kit to assist her.. we has to get everything at CVS,, just tape they had available and after 3 trips the lady made to i dont know where to get it… just tape ??? Really
Not to mention that if you ask for some decoration for a Birthday, they will charge you $95 per night for 6 miserables Balloons that will be a one time decoration, but they charge like they did it every day..
Absolutely exceptional stay at Isla Bella Beach Resort & Spa. The property is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay, which made a great resort feel even more special.
The food was excellent as well—fresh, flavorful, and consistently enjoyable. Between the beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, outstanding service, and quality dining, Isla Bella delivered exactly the relaxing Florida Keys experience we were hoping for.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely return. Highly recommend Isla Bella to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing resort with excellent service and food. Five stars across the board.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK:
My recent stay at Isla Bella was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share the full scope of issues we experienced.
* We were charged an undisclosed $800 security deposit ($200/day) immediately upon arrival.
* Despite a 4 PM check-in, we arrived at 3:45 hoping for early check-in and were told nothing-not even a room number. We didn't get into our room until 6 PM.
* The room itself was not clean. There were hairs in the bathroom, and the main shower was clogged and wouldn't drain. It wasn't fixed until the second day.
* Room service breakfast was $96 for two people, took 1.5 hours, and the food quality was below motel standard.
* The walls are extremely thin. We couldn't sleep for four nights due to constant noise from neighbors, hallways, and rolling carts.
We woke up around 7AM every day.
* We even received a noise complaint simply for watching TV at a normal volume.
* The resort's sand and beach are clearly man-made-a thin layer of sand over concrete, brown water, and slimy ground.
The website photos are not accurate.
* Advertised water activities (kayaks, jet skis, boats) are no longer offered, and you cannot book them despite what the website claims.
* The main pool area had aggressive iguanas.
Guests were moving seats, leaving the area, and one person was scratched from wrist to elbow. I counted 14-15 iguanas within a
20-foot space.
* The website shows fishing, but fishing is prohibited on every dock.
* At checkout, we were hit with over $460 in undisclosed fees, including a $47/day resort fee, $30/day parking, and multiple additional charges (community impact fee, occupancy tax, destination fee, etc.). One of the fees was an extra six dollars for a burger meal that we paid for in full at the window by the pool.
Overall, Isla Bella did not deliver the experience it advertises. Between hidden fees, poor cleanliness, inaccurate marketing, noise issues, and unusable amenities, this stay was nowhere near the standard expected for the price. I cannot recommend this resort.
