  Klimaanlage ewig nicht gereinigt, sehr laut und Stinkt, Bettwanzen, Kakerlaken im Zimmer, Pool und Dusche eklig. ( Mittelohrentzündung war Folge ). Personal teils unfreundlich. Frühstück sehr sparsam. Wasserspender im Flur ist auch Nachts störend laut. Teure Parkgebühren und teure Taxe. Bar an der Marina trotz Öffnungszeiten geschlossen. In 3 Zimmern dasselbe 😡.

  I read the reviews and did not heed the warnings. This place is awful. There is absolutely no service, they do not answer the phone and the room is uncomfortably hot. There is no one to help. The resort fee is a joke as this is about as far from resort as you can imagine. The only thing worse than the resort fee is the parking fee. Complete rip-off. Avoid if possible. PS Discovered the sheets were not clean. Apparently, they did not take the time to change them between guests. The health department should close this place down. It is unconscionable that they even rent these rooms.

  I docked here at the marina and had a nice pretty good experience. There are some areas of the resort that require maintenance and are not the cleanest, but everything you really need is here. The service was excellent especially the front desk staff. The member I interacted with was kind, friendly, and helpful. The location is also quite good. Overall, a pretty good marina and I would return.

  My stay at Banana Bay Resort was disappointing overall. While the hotel appeared clean, it did not meet the standard I expected for the price. The biggest issue was hidden fees. I booked expecting parking for my truck, trailer, and jet skis, but wasn’t told about additional charges until I arrived. The hotel and marina had different pricing and policies and couldn’t even agree on what I was supposed to pay. I was charged75 dollars per day just to park an empty trailer while my jet ski was in the water. I wasn’t allowed to keep my truck and trailer together, so each time I wanted to ride, I had to launch, unhook, park separately, and then repeat everything on return. The road to the rear parking and rooms was full of potholes, rough to drive through with a trailer. The room had several maintenance problems: a noisy, leaking AC, a dripping shower that made noise all night, and a vanity light that wouldn’t turn off, so the room never got fully dark. Staff were frequently smoking near the rear entrance, and the cigarette smell drifted into the entry area, which was unpleasant. The pool was also disappointing. Even on a very hot day, the water felt like a heated hot tub and stayed unusually warm even at night. If you’re planning to stay here with a boat or jet ski, get every fee in writing before you book. Don’t rely on the website or reservation info. In my experience, the unexpected charges, confusing policies, and maintenance issues outweighed the positives.
