  WHAT HAPPENED!...I stay at MANY IHG properties and this one needs to get there crap together...1st... Humidifier in the room, the front desk person stated, we are in Florida, every hotel has a humidifier....crazy statement...NO hotel has a humidifier if maintainined properly( Clean the AC coils and new filters)...Motel 6 doesn't have dehumidifiers in FLORIDA..2nd Elevator was not certified yet.... They will not let you use it, unless they accompany you(cute, one person working and 4 people to check in.....What, took 4 ever and ridiculous, if something happened, I would want the only person working OUT of the elevator to get help...what purpose is having the ONLY person working stuck with you....next time, give a discount and schedule approvals same day..3rd handed a folded paper mentioning rules and charging a parking fee...for what...you have a LARGE parking area..we are not in D.C...good GRIEF!..4th MOST IMPORTANT, the attitude of the employee, cavalier and dismissive..... weird and unprofessional...if you are going to INCONVENIENCE a Platinum member... Should be gracious and apologetic because of your lack of elevator approval timing and not having proper maintenance on property that causes humidifier use.....I stay at Many IHG and their is NO excuse for this.. temporary issues or not....it's really all about the MEET n greet of first line of impression, That is your IHG staff!...Next day we stayed in Brooksville, Fl..30 minutes away... EXCELLENT!...The staff n the owners need to spend the night there...from smiling to done right.....that is a great location(West location).....One more thing, our room in Lecanto, fl ..the BED had springs in the mattress..every time, you get in and out...it squeeks.... middle of the night, slowly getting out of bed.... ouch..SQUEEK!... upgrade top mattress also..... until they fix this, drive to Brooksville, fl West....you will be glad you did!

  This place is disgusting, if you like roaches and bugs this is the place for you! After the fourth bug, a giant cockroach, I left in the middle of the night and was not issued a refund horrible customer service, dirty hotel!!!!!! To top it off, there is no coffee in the room. You have to request it. For $200 a night, just sleep in the street!!

  I made reservations for this hotel because I was coming from Mississippi to look at a property I wanted to buy in Inverness, to move there. The reservation was for 4 nights in August. The property went to the status of "pending" and actually "sold" later. But I requested a refund because there was now no reason to come down there. I had paid the 'cancellation/refund fee of $39.95 so I figured I was covered. When I tried to get a refund a robot rod me too bad, my reasons cancellation did not meet the requirement for a refund, so too bad. I tried calling the front desk and the clerk on duty told me there was nothing to be done because the reservation was made through a third party. I was mad, confused, and will totally never make another hotel reservation on-line. Not only did they get away with the 4 nights but also the insurance for cancellations and refunds. Buyers, please beware and be aware of these sketchy policies.

  It was rude. I don’t like going to places where I feel like an inconvenience. I went to the counter to ask a question, but the clerk was ill-mannered and I never got my answer. Sorry for asking while you were playing on your phone, assuming you were actually working.
