Great for the whole family with loads of surprises through the show. You get a little wet but nothing to worry about. This is a great break from the bussle of the rest of the parks so why not have a little family fun on this one and take the weight off your feet at the same time!?

Zootopia: Better Zoogether! – A Charmingly Joyful Upgrade Inside the Tree of Life Taking over the historic Tree of Life Theater inside Discovery Island, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! replaces the long-running It’s Tough to Be a Bug! with a high-energy, family-friendly 4D experience. Following Officer Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and host Mayor Winddancer as they prepare for Zootopia’s "Zoogether Day" festival, the 9-minute production swaps the jump scares of its predecessor for pure musical fun, physical humor, and colorful world-building. Ratings Summary Overall Attraction Rating: 4.3 out of 5 Stars (A delightful, crowd-pleasing refresh that fits the park's core theme). Family Accessibility & Kid Appeal: 4.9 out of 5 Stars (Far less terrifying for toddlers than the previous insect show). 4D Effects & Production: 4.2 out of 5 Stars (Crisp "CarrotVision" 3D visuals paired with clever tactile seat and environmental effects). Wait Time & Logistics: 4.0 out of 5 Stars (Continuous theater batches keep lines moving efficiently). What Works: Welcoming Humor and Smooth Tech Toddler-Friendly Transition: Unlike It's Tough to Be a Bug, which was infamous for making young kids scream in panic, Better Zoogether! leans heavily into uplifting humor and familiar pop-style music. Smart Theater-Seat Effects: The show makes excellent use of the theater’s built-in 4D capabilities—incorporating gentle seat buzzes, air blasts, scent triggers, and mist that feel fun rather than startling. Rich Character Integration: Seeing biomes from Tundratown to Sahara Square brought to life in vibrant 3D gives all ages a fun tour through the Zootopia world. Crucial Mid-Day Break: Tucked directly underneath the Tree of Life, it offers top-tier air conditioning and steady theater seating, making it one of the easiest, stress-free stops during a hot park afternoon. The Drawbacks: Nostalgia Loss & Short Duration Loss of Classic Nostalgia: Fans attached to classic Disney park history will miss the quirky, vintage charm and original park-opening legacy of the previous bug-themed show. Light Storyline Depth: At roughly 9 minutes long, the narrative is fast and light—functioning more as a quick musical revue than a deep, story-driven adventure. Final Verdict Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is a very welcome, high-quality addition to Animal Kingdom’s lineup. It preserves the fun 4D theater experience while transforming it into a universally approachable, laugh-out-loud stop that families with kids of all ages can enjoy together without worry.

We are huge Zootopia fans (my 7 year old and I) and it was such a fun 4D show. You get spritzed with water and blasted with air, and rats under your bum!! So funny

Very disappointed and underwhelmed. Whatever replaced such an iconic, well done, well themed (and fun!) attraction as A Bug’s Life was always going to have a very high bar to clear, but this didn’t come close. The animation was good and it had a few funny moments but the pay off for scrapping the existing attraction was no where near inspired enough.
