  We had a 1br at the resort. Cute layout, loved the kitchen and the stackable washer dryer too. Hot water and pressure good in shower. Comfy bed and pillows. Very nice staff. Pool was perfect. Grounds are beautiful. Great location. We would come back in the future.

  My husband and I arrived around 4:15 pm on a Tuesday. The front desk staff were pleasant. Check in was quick and we were soon in our room. The first thing I noticed was the air conditioner set to 68 but the room temp was 71. It was cool when we came in but quickly started getting a little warmer. I figured it was just because it was so hot out and it would cool down overnight. The next thing I experienced was taking a shower is impossible unless you like scalding HOT water, as there was no cold water coming out. The next morning we called the front desk to report these things. They sent a maintenance employee over after having to call again. He was very nice and told us he had to check things out and report back to the office his findings. He told us they would call us to let us know what the next steps were. After an hour waiting for them to call, we called the front desk. They gave us a new room. We wanted to check to make sure there was cold water coming out of the faucets, and that the air condition worked properly. When we walked in to the new room, the air condition was set at seventy, and it felt really cool. The faucets had cold water, but the bathroom shower did not. It was scalding hot once again. Our first clue should have been that there was no shower curtain hanging up on the bath tub. Needless to say, we kept the room and we never took a shower! (YUCK!!!) The property is old and the room we had was outdated. We could tell the new room had been renovated some what. The pools were nice and we enjoyed them. Overall it was a nice stay but we will not be coming back to this resort.

  3rd time staying in executive suites here. Fantastic base for the Disney parks and exploring Orlando and beaches nearby. Excellent for self catering. There are 3 pools and a hot tub also.

  We have owned a deeded floating week (Contract #70553 / #91324) at Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista since 1995, and it has been an absolute nightmare. We were initially enticed with a free stay offer in the mail, but after paying $5,450, we quickly learned how restrictive and non-beneficial this contract actually was. Despite never using it, maintenance fees, reserve charges, and property taxes have continually ballooned—increasing from $520 up to $667.51+ per year. As far back as 2010, we alerted the resort that we were experiencing financial hardship, yet no real relief or reasonable exit options were offered. Now in our 70s, we have no desire to travel to Florida, and our grown children understandably have zero interest in inheriting these endless annual fees. We have reached out, sent letters, and tried to discuss a simple contract release, but Blue Tree Resort refuses to offer a fair way out for long-term owners facing hardship. They are quick to take your money and raise your fees every year, but offer zero flexibility or support when you need to relinquish ownership. Beware of buying into Blue Tree Resort—once you are locked in, they will do everything possible to keep taking your money, regardless of your circumstances/
